The worst part about the last six pages of this thread? I had to sleep early last night and missed 75% of this game.

You know what will make all this Lebron talk pointless....if we have a nice game from the FT line. We are due to go like 90% in a game

Boston players were told to pack enough clothes for a week. They're pretty damned confident they will win game 7 apparently because they're planning the trip to play OKC already!

Big game 2morrow night, hope the Heat fans get the arena rocking, tired of seeing other teams arenas going nuts and ours is laid back, bring the noise...The Celtics are going to bring it, we need a strong performance and our fans to get wild.....

    GO HEAT!!!

    2 questions,

Can Lebron bring it like that again?

    Will he need to?

I don't think it's really a question of should he have to as more as I think it's he wants to. He had that look last game that it was his game with everyone following. I think he does it again today, I'm sure Boston will focus more coverage to him tonight, so the rest of the team HAS to step up to help him out when he needs to kick out. I'm beyond excited right now and its only the morning.

Nobody should expect Lebron to shoot like that again. Can he? Obviously, but that was one of those insane in a zone nights that are rare.

His teammates will have to contribute more to win this game. Boston looked very deflated last game, they are so old and tired I'm not sure they have another great performance on the road in them. Should be a fun game and I'm torn because OKC/Mia would be a great final....OKC/Boston??? That's a 5 game series IMO.

    Game 7's are awesome.

Wade has to remind everyone whose house they're playing in tonight. Time for him to wake up and kick some ***.

Tonight is OUR night. I expect an explosion from the Heat three point shooters. The looks have been there this series, alot of them have not gone down. As long as the Heat's defensive disposition gets carried over from game 6, they will be fine.

Remember, the Heat already bucked EXTREME odds in game 6. This sets up for them.

    My dream scenario of entertained-ness.

Series goes seven games. Game seven Durant and Lebron both score huge in the 40's. Durant comes down the floor and hits a three with seven seconds left to put them up by one. Lebron takes the inbound pass and has a MJ moment as he hits a jumper as the clock expires to win the NBA Finals and get everyone off his back forever.

Well, that certainly would do it.

My question is, before he nails this jumper will he "push off" James Harden before shooting?

Big downtown festival in Columbus tonight where a handsome devil such as myself could likely land a few "leads" and yet I turned it down to watch a game 7 between 2 teams I pretty much do not care for. Why? Game 7's of this magnitude are THAT awesome.

good buzz in the city today.

I do not expect a close game tonight, but the crowd will be key to get that avalanche effect going.

The same avalanche effect they had when the Heat closed out the Pistons in 06'. A crowd can END a game. Heat get a double digit lead, the crowd itself can pump it to 20 (hint: officials bandwagon crowds)

The one thing that ruins this experience of following this basketball team.

It also doesn't help that this team was so disappointing in this series. That contributed to anxiety, and the bipolar nature of Heat fans.

and yes, I stand by everything I wrote and said. Even if the Heat win tonight by 65 points, they were a disappointment in this series.

Yes, they got screwed in game 4, but nobody screwed them to fall behind so much early.

Game 5 was one of the most embarrassing games in Heat history, saved by heroics from the greatest player in the world in Game 6. So perspective is needed. Celebrate tonight, pump your fists, beat your chest, but results MATTER.

Style points never matter, but in this extreme case, they do. They are merely outlasting a vastly inferior opponent, and not beating them like they should have.

If he thinks game 6 Lebron is "what works" consistently. Don't run your best player into the ground.

The look was palpable and real easy to see.

The weird thing was he didn't look angry to me more almost like sad and dejected.

My biggest worry is Wade trying to play hero ball and jacking up jumpers like he did to start the Pacer series.
