A fan wants their team to win it all every season. If they don't they will not consider it a success. Unless the team sucked and got remarkably better.

I think it's been discussed and 3 is about the quota for feeling like the Heat did what they set out to do.

But anytime your team wins a title I'm ASSUMING it's a great thing...I wouldn't know since my pro teams are a joke. Ofcourse winning the National title was extremely fulfilling, mostly because that team had very little expectations that year, and even a 13 point dog in the championship game. I'm guessing I will never feel that gratified again.

 

Don't say that, were Dolphins fans..We need that feeling for the Fins...Hopefully soon too...

 

Especially gratified that that team had the ref in their pockets....

Going to be a great series, this is the matchup I've been wanting to see. I'd be surprised if it didn't go at least 6 games. Hopefully we aren't talking about the refs the entire series, sigh.

I think Dolphins fans IN the Northeast take the cake for "most pissed off Dolphin fans in America" given our proximity to the Boston area fanbase that was full on display so eloquently in these playoffs....

Make no bones about Oz-Man when the Dolphins ride again...OH AND THEY WILL RIDE AGAIN...the relentlessness to which I harrass them will make anything else look insignificant...

You know when fans have a vested intrested in who is officiating the game then there is something incredibly broken about the sport.

I absolutely abhor discussing referees, especially for the NBA. If we lose tonight, chances are it's because OKC was the better team. Same goes for every other game in sports history with very limited and special exceptions.

 

So what has been helping Knicks fans feel better since forever?
