Now all Ochocinco needs to do is borrow Danielle Marino from T-Pain.

Primary who started all of 11 games, nice excuse though.

 You lost all credibility trying to judge people who have tattoos or long hair. I don't need to overstate how silly I think your general opinions are.

    Not really.

all we need is for him to play out one season with a chip on his shoulder.

For better or worse, this off season has been a change in direction. From marketing all the way down, I feel that more importance has been put on football. I'm expecting high energy, fast paced ball. Win or lose, our games will not be boring. I couldn't be happier about the demeanor our coach shows. I'm pumped. Let the beer flow.

Ocho is a pretty good citizen and teammate, unlike Marshall. Don't think the two really compare.

Ah well, ignore list was destined to grow, adios.

I'm not crazy about the signing, but I don't hate it. They didn't give up any draft picks for him and he's likely better than any other WR on the roster. So... whatever.

ATM, I'd have to think that this effects BJ Cunningham more than anyone else.

Well, we definately needed a vet at the WR position, not sure he's the right character guy. But hey, if he can come in here, and be productive, keep his mouth shut, I'm all for it. Cant hurt to see what he's got left in the tank.

Isn't the number 85 retired here for Duper?

    ***EDIT***
Nope. It looks like only Griese 12, Marino 13 and Czonka 39 are retired. Hmmm. I always thought it was more.

Kory Sperry was 85 last year...or the year before. My memory is bad.

I think this is a bad signing because he's just not very good anymore. I don't care about his antics. I agree with Trowa. He won't make final 53.

Honestly I don't know where people get off even comparing Chad to T.O. aside from the fact they are both diva WR's. Chad does a lot top poor himself in the spotlight, but its hardly ever been negative.

I really think the only thing Chad has lost is some confidence. Remember when he had his list? He needs that swagger and attitude back.

He would draw the coverage of the defense #1 CB and give Hartline, Bess, and who the hell else knows a shot against worse defenders.

So we're apparently more interested in Miami grown talent. With the new 'special relationship' with UM and signing a Miami native, we may be more inclined in the future to acquire talent in the Miami and greater Florida area. I don't think that's a bad thing.

It's not often people get excited about a non-scoring special teams play, much less remember it 8 years later but DAMN. That was a hell of a play.

Exactly. Players have not worked out in other places and flourished after that. Some players just don't fit certain systems. It isn't just football, so go out and play football. If he didn't fit the system, he didn't fit the system. NE used him more as a decoy than anything else, and for that it worked. I fully expect to see some of the old Chad here, and some of the Mad Chad. I think he will be just fine paying at home.

    He'll be a distraction.

...for Hard Knocks, providing subterfuge for an otherwise reserved, hopefully preoccupied, yet possibly impressionable young Dolphin team.

A well seasoned, colorful character speaking before a camera, Chad's likable familiarity with NFL audiences, will help satiate the impending vaccuum for entertainment worthy dialog, to serve the viewing masses.

too much blatant, senseless negativity in these posts. no reason to suspect the coach doesn't know what he is doing in acquiring 85 on a very reasonable one year contract. I think it is an excellent move. have noticed a number of naysayers arising from our ranks before we even have our first real scrimmage. honestly, unless you post why something is wrong or bad it doesn't enrich the thread but takes away from its momentum. knowledgeable criticism without sarcasm is a positive thing, something we all look forward to reading, blatant, senseless negativity is not.
like most of dolfandom, I'm looking forward to the 2012 season with excitement & enjoy the changes we've made immensely. what's not to like? let the cadre coach & the players compete.

    Enjoy!:thanx:

Keep his mouth shut? I doubt that will happen. His mouth don't bother me I always got a laugh out of Ocho. He isn't a trash talker like Chowder I always seen him as just clowning around. Hopefully he still has some game so he will have a reason to clown around in the endzone.
