Also OKC can't afford to start off slow. Like wtf was ****? Jacking up jumpshots. It was night and day how they played in the 4th.

The Thunder are pretty freaking good. That's two great game plans by Spo to start the games with and two really good finishes by the Younger Thunder. I'm betting the Thunder come out swinging in game 3. Hopefully Battier can keep up the fire hot shooting because if he doesn't, someone better or it's going to be nail biting, head banging close and I hate those games at home.

Edit: I have a lot of respect for the Thunder and their crowd is the best I've heard for an entire game. Even after losing their fans are trying to get Heat players to high five them which is a lot better than throwing beer ...

This is the way the NBA finals should be, close competitive games.

1st half defense by Miami was stellar... I'm hoping in game 3 they keep up that defensive intensity 48 minutes.

I know I sound like a broken record, but our fans need to see how loud and crazy they were and match that, make more noise....

I said this on Heat Freak.

They are a hundred times better than Boston.

We were up 17 on them and they were still howling.

Good lord can Durant play or what?

This guy is going to end up being the face of the sport in an MJ kind of way, IMO. He's only twenty-bleepin-three?

Heat fans get as loud or louder but they can be lulled to sleep. Thunder fans were quiet for a few minutes and the second their team got back to being down by 10 they start going nuts again. GREAT FANS

    You think?

There are two transcendental players in the league right now and they passed on one for a broken center.

Yeah. Even the stupid-*** muting of the crowd they do on TV now a days can't hide the volume of that cloud.

Can you imagine if it was the NBA on NBC when the crowds used to drown out the announcers? It was electric.

Reporters repeatedly asking Durant if he thinks he got fouled, mugged and raped on the last shot! Not one excuse from Durant! He just says over and over, I missed the shot. I liked that....

He did get hit, but he also had a pretty clean look at the basket.

great game. lebron had a real nice clutch last couple minutes in the gm too. the baNK shot, the two frees and a very well timed veteran foul on the last shot that wasnt obvious. very crafty foul, a veteran move. deserves props tonight as well as battier and wade.

still, if the thunder ever stop spotting you 16 point leads in the first, this will be a quick series.

They all ***** about it on the court! Miami included but I like it when the no excuse line is used. Miami uses it as well. For the most part both games have been called fairly even. I fully expect OKC to get plenty of calls going their way in Miami.

    It would be ridiculous.

I mean we already have one Heat fan *****ing about the officials in a game that doesn't start for 3 days.:pity:

It's still kinda crazy to me how much impact on a game a mostly 90% jump shooter has on a game when you see a guy take 10 3's your not thinking about a superstar normally.

Derek Fishers old *** is killing us in this series and I'm not even talking about his shooting the thunder just play way smarter when hes on the court.

lmao you're so full of crap mang! Not one Heat fan, since this game ended, has even remotely mentioned anything that resembles *****ing about the officials....

This has been a great series thus far... absolutely love it. I am probably going to have a heart attack because I think the Heat win in seven but the NBA fan in me would love to see a seven game series. It's good for the sport.

Officiating has been pretty fair thus far this series. A few bad calls going both ways but you'll never get a perfectly officiated game.

I've actually think it has been really fair. Bad calls going against both teams. Miami got to the line plenty, so I expect OKC to get some in Miami.

He's fantastic. Just a pure shooter in every sense of the word. He's fun to watch. Poetry in motion. A very humble guy, too.

I don't think he'll be the face of the NBA, though.

He's going to be. He's already this good at 23 and has a ton of room to grow. Most objective NBA watchers recognize Lebron as the best player in the NBA by far but Durants efficiency and scoring numbers far surpass Lebrons at 23 outside of assists.

The defense isn't there but defense doesn't sell. High flying crazy dunks and and sharpshooting from all over the floor does. That man is a mother bleeping sniper.

I don't agree if it's based on who's going to be the best. I don't see Durant surpassing Lebron. That's why I see Lebron as the face of the NBA and I think he will be for quite a while.

Considering how the NBA markets their players though, he could be if they win the Finals.
