Nba draft tomorrow...Houston already making moves and trying to get D12 (supposedly he wants no part of it). Kings turned them down on pick 16 + Lowry for pick 5 and Evans. Rockets moved Budinger for pick 18. Rockets moved pick 14 and Sammy Dalembert for 12 and Shaun 'Livingston.
GSW has discussed Wilson Chandler for pick 7...they really want Dorell Wright gone.
Lakers and Hawks talking Pau for Josh Smith
Lakers also have put out feelers for Artest (2yrs/15M/15% trade kicker)

    Some other trades being discussed...

Iguodala and 15 to the Raps for 8, Calderon, and Ed Davis.

Iguodala to the Warriors for 7, Wright, and Biedrins/Jefferson. Not happening unless they gtfo with the Biedrins/Jefferson nonsense. Sure hope so anyways.

    Iguodala for Pau Gasol.

    Iguodala for Al Jefferson.

In other words, the same **** us 76er fans have been hearing for 4 years.

Kings seem damn keen on getting rid of Evans. Can't say I really blame them. Just a bad basketball player that peaked his rookie year.

Also rumors of Charlotte shopping the 2nd pick with Thunder supposedly interested.

I also don't believe this Dwight Howard Houston nonsense either. Looks like it's Andre Drummond they're targeting with Sac shopping the #5 pick.

I saw the Thunder were targeting Beal, what on Earth would they have to give to trade up that much?

Thats a good question. I doubt they'd give up Westbrook so you'd have to assume it starts with Harden? I'm not an expert on NBA trades or cap so I have no clue but I'd imagine it would have to start with Harden and maybe one of their bigs?

Probably either Harden or Ibaka + 28 and future picks. If Maynor were healthy he would be an asset for them in such a deal because the Cats are definitely in need of a good PG. Dont know how Charlotte would feel about Maynor at this time.

Lakers really want in the top 5 for Gilchrist. Gasol is the ammunition they are putting out there. The Grizz supposedly offered Z-Bo for Gasol according to Peter Vescey but thats to be taken with a giant grain of salt as Vecsey has been wrong more then right.
Dion Waiters (SG/Syracuse) is now being mentioned as an option at 4 for the Cavs. Waiters has a promise from a team in the top 10 (believed to be the Raps)..the Raps want to jump the Warriors at 7 supposedly to ensure they get him. I watched Waiters all year being a Cuse fan...he doesnt play a lick of D but he has the athletic abilityt o be a good defender if he commits to it. Offensively theres no issues.
Steve Nash to Toronto seems to be gaining steam. Nets, Raps, Mavs and NYK all seem interested.
Ray Allen has interest in the Heat and NYK.
Randy Foye has interest in the NYK (No thanks)...its leverage season anyway.
Bucks are giving serious consideration to Terrence Jones (Kentucky SF/PF) at 14.
Bobcats supposedly have 5 offers for pick 2. The caveat there is they are looking to dump Tyrus Thomas (3 years/26M) in any deal.

Harden. That's the plan anyways supposedly. Get Beal since they can't afford to keep both Harden and Ibaka. And I think Charlotte would do it.

So I didn't realize the draft is in Newark. I wonder if it's free to go to?

Who am I kidding, I have no desire to go spend any more time in Newark than I have to.

Wishful thinking if the Lakers think Pau Gasol is netting them a top 5 pick.

I think the Bucks go with Terrence Ross or Meyers Leonard.

Would be nice of the 76ers were one of those offers. I'd give up Iguodala and Turner easily. I know one of them is reportedly Derrick Williams for 2. I wouldn't do that though if I was Charlotte. I was never a big Williams fan to begin with. Would rather have Beal, Robinson, and MKG. Perhaps even Drummond.

Steve Nash to Toronto is where I've been thinking he'd go for a while now. There was a lot of NYK chatter but I'm not buying it. Maybe if Pringles was still around. I think the Raptors can really surprise some people if they get Nash. I like Valanciunas. He and Bargnani with Steve Nash can be a potent combination with Barganani's perimeter offense, and Val's ability to finish down low combined with that 7'4" wingspan and good mobility/athleticism. Throw in Derozan. And if they drop their demands for the 15th pick and get Iggy, that's a playoff team easily with a high scoring offense. Iguodala and Val also adds to a defense that was surprisingly solid last year. Throw in another defensive role player or 2. Or they can just go with Waiters.

10-15 games. Calderon isnt bad but hes not Nash and hes more injury prone. The Nash to Toronto rumor is stemming from Nash being Canadian. I still think he lands with a contender (Dallas) or a team looking to contend (NYK, NJ - if Deron leaves)

Its $20. I looked in to it.

I think the Bucks go BPA. I think thats why they wanted Dalembert and made the move with Houston last night. I could see Leonard in play but I think John Henson also fits a need for them and is a better player if Detroit passes on him at 9.

Read the Williams rumor and agree with you. I still think Williams will be a player but he didnt have a great season that I would pass up a fresh prospect at 2 overall for him.

    Also...
Spurs shopping DeJuan Blair because they think 1-2 of their Euro prospects may come over.
Bulls are looking at Tyshawn Taylor at pick 29...makes sense with rose out. Hes a good player but turnover prone. Could become a better pro then college player....

Wade is going to have surgery on his knee, and is out for the Olympics. Will be ready for training camp.

So let's recap. The Heat won the Championship with their second best player having a knee injury, and their third best player missing 9 games in the middle of the playoffs.

I expect the injury to be the same as he had in 2009. "Loose bodies". So it is basically an oil change he is going in for. (Drain, then impact training)

    4. Waiters...first surprise even though I love him as a cuse player. Good scorer, competitive and has an edge. He played a zone but he can be lazy at times on D even though the ability is there.

Boeheim kept him on the bench for 5 reasons...at least that i can see.
    1. Maturity. He arrived with some issues.
    2. Boeheim almost always plays his vets as starters
    3. Waiters needs the ball to be effective and Cuse has a good PG in Brandon triche.
    4. They needed scoring off the bench. They had depth for a change but their depth consisted of guys who either made plays for others or were bigs who were rebounders/shot blockers
    5. His commitment to D lacked at times.

    5. Kings - Thomas Robinson
    6. Portland - Damian Lilliard
    7. GSW - Harrison Barnes - Love this pick for them. They need a SF and now adding Barnes they add a wing who can create his own shot. GSW will be a playoff team before long. Curry-Thompson-Barnes-Lee-Bogut is solid.

Finally some movement looks to be happening.

    - Jazz-Mavs-LAC working on something with Mo Williams picking up his option and going to Utah, Odom going to LAC. Unclear what Dallas would receive.
    - Dallas sends draft rights to Tyler Zeller to Cleveland for pick 24, 33, 34.

This draft is ridiculous. How is it taking so long? Not every team has to wait until 15 seconds left.

And so many Cavs fans are ****ing terrible. My god. If I weren't one of them, I might say they deserve a team that is terrible.
