Atlanta has the luxury to sit around and wait a year. No trade. D12 is from there.

Absolutely agree. Hopefully someone inspires him to play up to his potential... I want the return of Super Cool Beas.

What Knicks fan wanted Nash in that offense? Not this Knick fan. The ball would've most likely stopped at Melo way too much I have to say.

The Knicks had a better chance of bringing back a happily willing dAntoni than signing Nash.

The C's are rumored to be offering a no trade clause in order to keep Allen, plus twice the money the Heat is offering.

lol at that price they can have him.....he wont work with the C's...he will start and get bogged down....

he would be perfect on Miami, comes off the bench, instant offense, not to mention win another title or 2...

Houston must think they can keep Knicks from matching Lin.

But Darryl Morey is an idiot, so who knows.

Ray would have to be dumb to go to Celtics. Bradley will and should start and Terry is the better offensive player off the bench at this point. He should go to Miami and just hit wide open 3 after wide open 3 as the defense collapses on LeBron

If that's true, and Ray hasn't already accepted, then it's clear he just doesn't want to be there and was hoping to get competetive offers elsewhere.

I think the Heat nabs him at a relative bargain.

Then we try and get Rashard for the minimum. Hopefully, if Miller is deemed unable to play, we can then get Camby for the injured player's exception

How about a potential Mario Chalmers for Camby S&T?

Houston needs a point guard, we need a center.

I normally would hate to trade young for old, and I actually like Rio, but we are in the win now business and have a PG of the future potentially in Norris Cole.

Rio is garbage. If you can get something for him then do it. LeBron plays the point anyways.

You've got to be kidding. Rio is more than serviceable and the Heat would be silly to get rid of him. His decision making has gotten incredibly better and the guy can flat out shoot and play, not to mention his knack for making big plays in the clutch. He is definitely an essential part of this team and has a long time left in this league.

Anybody who watched the playoffs knows that Rio is not a garbage player.

Rio is still inconsistent but he was the best player outside the Big 3 for us at times.

I want Ray Allen badly for two reasons.

1 is obvious that he is a bad mamba jamba from 3.

2 is that it is such an enormous FU to the crappy Celtics organization and fans.

This Howard saga needs to end pronto. Once that domino drops, we will know much better how the top teams will look next year and a lot of these role players that are still out there, can sign up with their favorite super team.

His reputation far exceeds his play. I think he got fat and slow. He couldn't defend and his big shots you name are few and far between. The guy just isn't good. Serviceable yes, but mostly because Lebron is so great.

Did you watch game four of the Finals?

And ask Derrick Rose if Mario "Mother****ing" Chalmers can defend.

    This just isn't accurate.

It is accurate and rose destroys Chalmers, you kidding me? It's lebron on rose in big moments not Chalmers. Yes he had a nice finals game, good job. Shame it took the Waldo lookalike to wake him up and get him to hit a few shots. Chalmers was good early last year, and struggled the rest of the year until a finals game. It isn't disputable, it was well documented. And his defense is so overrated, he isn't good as an on ball defender.

Try again. During the 11 regular season games Rose and Chalmers have plaid Rose has shot .374 while Chalmers has shot .488.

In the five playoff games last year Chalmers shot .625 while Rose shot a measly .350.

Your hate for Chalmers is making you say stupid things that facts do not back up.

Replace "Chalmers" with "things" and you get a pretty good description.

I get that there's a huge disparity in talent between the two, but Chalmers does very well when playing Rose.

No doubt. Rose is in the discussion for best PG in the league, but historically Chalmers has owned him head to head.

and yes..he does seem to own Rose H2H.

it is also not accurate to say that he "only had that one finals game".

Unless your cable was out the rest of the playoffs. Including the 2 games he outplayed Rondo in the ECF's.

If I was atlanta I'd probably take a shot with a package centered around Horford.

The odds of Atlanta wooing him as a straight free agent can't be all that high, and if he bolts Atlanta has tons of cap space to rebuild. Not to mention Horford is coming off an injury much like Howard so his long term health is an issue as well.

Lakers ought to do it to.

He will eventually force his way to BK. IMO.

he will not play this season in Orlando.

He does not want to play with Kobe, and LA is demanding that he sign an extension. Then Orlando has poison pilled it by asking that they take J-Rich.

If he makes it to FA, I would bet that he signs with Atlanta.
