Hey guys, new to this site, quick question. Going to be visiting Miami from the great white north for the Bucs game on Aug. 10 and wondering if the tailgate parties still go full force for preseason games. Ive never been to an NFL game and want to experience it. Too bad its preseason, but ill be back. If so what time do they start and is the ticket price worth the line up they will dress.

    Cheers.

Hey northernfan welcome to the best Phins forum...

About tailgating... Usually the gates at the stadium parking is opened about 3 hours before game time. you can park and tailgate till the cows come home or till they tell you the game is over and its time to leave the property (LOL)... They ask you to make sure that you extinguish any fires (bar-b-que) before you leave for the game or leave the stadium.

Believe it or not there have been cars that have caught fire because somebody did not put the que out right...

The ticket prices are just the same as the Regular Season and are not worthy of the competition on the field (that is the NFL for you)...

Come on down and enjoy yourself legally and you will have a good time...

Unless they changed it, gates open 4 hours early. Sometimes they will start a bit earlier if it's expected to be very crowded, but that shouldn't be an issue for preseason. The preseason tailgating is as good as regular, just less busy, the regulars still put on a party. Friday games are the least crowded due to work, but still a lot of fun.
Def make sure the grill is off and cool, including coals, not everyone does and it's dangerous. I have a cooler with a briquette sized indentation in the bottom where a hot coal was in the lot behind my truck. Stepped on one once also.

    Have fun!!
