From everything we've read about the QB competition, any of the 3 QBs could find themselves anywhere on the depth chart. I wouldn't be surprised if any of the above options came to be. I left the OTHER option available for those rooting for the dream scenario of ALL 3QBs playing so well that the 3rd QB gets traded for a pick or player. If you select OTHER please explain. Things will change and change again this preseason. But I wanted to get an idea of my fellow fans expectations.
Well hopefully Ross is doing the smart thing and letting Philbin and his football coaches make that decision....
I bet Garrard gives Moore a run for his money. Wish I had DJ's seat for a few days it should be great competition if Moore can step it up to game speed fighting for the spot.
well, I'm stunned by these results so far. Overwhelming towards Garrard. I wouldn't be surprised if he was cut or traded prior to the start of the season.
I voted Moore, Garrard, Tannehill. I think that's optimistic, but I also think that's what the front office is hoping for as well. Moore showed enough last season that he deserves to go into the season as the starter. Garrard is a nice #2 option, a veteran with starting experience that you can turn to in the event that Moore is injured or just not cutting it. Tannehill is the rookie, and out of all the rookie QBs, I think he's probably the one who will need a little bit of time before stepping into the starting lineup. Should Garrard end up winning the starting position, I could see Miami trading Moore, though if that's the plan it would make more sense for them to do it before offcially demoting him.
Why? I've read posts from Offensive players and their opinion on Gerrard. He's winning them over. Says enough for me.They want a QB who can make them play and look better. Personally I want better than Garrard but if the the shoe fits then go with the flow. Gotta work with what we've got.
I'm a big Moore suporter, but the reality is garrard is just a better QB and I don't think it makes much sense to carry 3 QBs this year, sorry Matt. Any word on Devlin yet, practice squad?
I must say, these results are very encouraging. I was dreading the "Tannehill must start week 1, or he is a bust" mentality to be more prevalent. The fact that over 80% expect him to start the season as a 3rd stringer means the consensus is patience, which I like.
Obviously the Garrard injury changed the dynamics, but interesting to see how far Tannehill has come in a few weeks.
Im guessing they keep 2 qbs now. You aren't keep 2 journeyman backups on the active roster. Devlin will go back to practice squad.
Sticking with this opinion...seemed most logical at the time....and frankly with DG most likely out for week 1 anyway, it wont be the 3 listed. What do I win?
