Sounds like Devlin may have it in his mind to really compete for the 2nd string job. He may be thinking that if he's good enough the team could get rid of the Moore/Garrard loser and keep him as the primary backup ahead of Tannehill.
Thanks man! Great stuff! I was following the tweet thread off and on today and the tone I got from it was that Garrard had the better day. Good to hear someone different give Moore some props
I saw him playing sam a few times but I can't answer that question Ro, they could of switched up but I was mainly watching offense, however I can tell you that he was playing Sam when he made the best defensive play of the practice, that was a long time to cover Fasano on that crossing route, he was seriously out of his jurisdiction if you know what im sayin, he jumped that route, caught it cleanly, and would of housed it.
That play jumped out at me in your report, and since you said he was covering Fasano, I assumed he was the Sam, at least on that play. Glad to know it was impressive. Hopefully he has a big year.
Hey, this is like that time that you went to practice and wrote that awesome training camp report! Thanks!
Thanks for the update and putting in all the work. I am troubled you commented on Philbin's physical shape, though.
Lol, I was shocked how good of shape he was in so I just had to say it..whiter than cocaine, but in damn good shape relative to the coaches in this league, guy must be 6'5.
lol, the guys from HBO were talking about the heat and the fans, some of the fans in the stands were heckling them because they looked like they had been thru war, wet towels over their head, wet drawers, pale...They complimend the fans while they were filming Wake signing autographs.
Fine job Deej. If you ever start a band, I think the name Mother Grabber and the Man Glutes would be perfect.
yeah i'm pumped for the season, but i'll tell yeah somethin Nardo, I think its a joke that thee rookie isn't signed, pisses me off the lack of understanding of the situation..Your trying to rebuild an image here, like or not, thats what needs to be done, and your just creating more anger for a few million dollars, I mean if you have to pay it 4 years from now, it means the GM ain't gonna be here anyways.
seriously, nice job. I feel sorry for the guy that sits in front of you in the bleachers. Little does he know, when he stands up, he's being critiqued. Q for you and anyone else there, where is Odrick lining up, is he all over the place, or in one specific spot? Same question about Koa Misi. Thanks!!
LDE for Odrick, Misi had a pick 6 at the sam...but I dont have a lot of data to support that, where they were all day that is.
Anything, really. Player. System. Off the field. Anything you didn't expect, that stood out to you, or found odd/surprising. As Columbo used to say... Any detail, no matter how small, could be something. lol.
Hey Pauly Ben Viloin is reporting that Misi lined up at the will with the first team.Ill get more clear on that 2maro
Thank for an unbelievably thorough writeup Deej. That made me so happy, since I can;t be there to watch it myself. Maybe this year you let me buy you a beer and we watch a game together.
Sean smiths focus today was suprising, and impressive. shocked that a front office would allow such a trivial advantage overtake such a monumental issue..:{fanbase interest.}..It was a somber crowd, you could tell they were hoping to see the rook, and were denied. Why the stands were built facing the east, when we know the sun rises there. Why they don't put on an awning over the stands. There was a mom with three infant children yelling at her kids for being miserable...have you ever seen sweating babies?. System wise, no suprises, vanilla as vanilla could be today...They have been preaching that their going to win with great fundamentals..I think thats what it was all about today. and just how freakish Cam Wake is up close..
Thanks, Deej. Even more so for enduring staring into the sun, sweating under it's relentless heat with no shade, and with crying babies and a yelling Mom. Seriously appreciate *your* focus today. (Glad to hear Sean Smith's behavior on the field seems to match talk of his changed maturity level). Amazing to hear no mention of Vontae when he used to be the phenom. It's SS's turn I think. Cam Wake really is a freak. Dude, I wish you voted in Dolphins Survivor in the other thread. The guys in there are getting rid of Cam to vote Brandon Fields in as the winner to represent the Phins this year. Shameful. Anyways, great work! Can;t wait til tomorrow!! So many questions need answering: Does Deej sleep under the bleachers so he gets there first? Will DJ hide in a dirty laundry bin in the facility for a shot at Wake's jockstrap? Who will jump out and impress tomorrow? And of course, will the rook, Tannehill...'s WIFE make an appearance?
So, basically what you're saying is that you'd like him to critique you? Hmmmmm? How's it goin' Barry?
Good point. Better add some plates to my squat. Things are good. I'm the pied piper of women and I get paid well for it. Fair to say I love my life. You Richard?
VD's my boy, I ain't worried about him, I've been hard on SS, so I think I saw some signs to being a better player.. I made this trip specifically for this camp, and for the great people on this site, trying like hell to keep a low pro.. I gotta smile on my face, have a few drinks in me, gettin ready to go to a bar for a bit, but i plan on being back by 2 at the latest, 7 oclock wake up time.. Good nite to everyone, and may you all dream of the perfect roundness of Cam wakes glutes.
Good. Enjoy it while you can, I stopped playing on that merry-go-round a long time ago. I'll have been married for a decade next year.
