I haven't seen this posted, I don't know when it was put up, and I just saw it now..so hopefully everyone else enjoys this as much as me. Got me pretty pumped up! That was great. I hope they make it very hard for the coaches. Maybe they all play great and another team trades us a draft pick for one.
Nice. Thanks. I'm pulling for Garrard. I like the guy and hope he can win the job if Tannehill isn't ready of course.
i dont know if its because i'm not from the US but all your links never show any hard knocks clips for me somebody has it on you tube or somewhere else ?
I'm guessing they mention him in the episode as an "also ran" or something. Don't feel too bad for him - he'll likely be the third stringer if they cut/trade the loser of Garrard v. Moore, whether they are battling for starter, or back-up.
If you have HBO, then check out HBO on Demand on your TV too. I was poking around and found like 3 new videos.
I hope they trade the guy who is the better of the 2.......why not? There isnt much of a drop off between Moore and Garrard....
I like Tannehill, as a player and a person. I love the camaraderie of these guys. I love seeing Chad johnson out there keeping it loose and fun. My God, the impossible has happened. I'm beginning to love this team again.
What Matt Moore said: "The Quarterback situation here has changed alot here recently ... obviously, we added uh David Garrard, and then drafted Ryan Tannehill and it's been uh ... for me, it's been really good." What Matt Moore meant: "Crap, you mean I'm going to have to move AGAIN!"
-David Garrard looks the most confident. -Matt Moore looks the most intense. -Ryan Tannehill looks the most awkward. -Pat Devlin looks the most absent.
Was anyone pissed off right away when the graphic said I mean, really? Come on. Do you need to be put the "at least" in there or were you just adding words for the sake of adding words? It's not like they had Pat Devlin mentioned anywhere in that video.
-Agree on Garrard and Moore -Tanny looked awkward due to the question, but I actually thought he handled it well and showed a little humor w/ the whole situation. I can see him joking around w/ his teammates and being a likable guy. -Devlin got that 0.56-second cameo when they showed the QBs watching film. He's probably like, "Mom, mom - see me, right there - I'm RIGHT THERE!!!" -That was classic. Anyone who watched the Bengals in '09 will understand it exactly.
Nah this isn't the first time I've thought or said that. Tannehill looks awkward and uncomfortable on camera. He's not much different in person, either (yes I've met him, briefly). He's one of those dudes that when he's fish out of water just kind of clams up and smiles a lot, is kind of awkward. No biggie. When he's on a football field in practice and in games, he's obviously not a fish out of water. He knows what he's doing and interacts well on the football field. He'll be doing that during Hard Knocks too. Let's see, about 0.56 seconds per episode, 5 episodes...heh.
I'm curious, can you guys think of any other rookie QBs who were awkward off the field, but great on the field who turned out to be elite QBs? Just curious. Manning. Brady. Marino. Bradshaw. Brees. Anyone?
watching RT's release, looked pretty quick, or was that just camera play? curious, has anyone compared the release of the 3 QBs to see which one is fastest? Just trying to recall Garrard's release, don't have the impression it was ever that quick
Brady didn't come in with swagger. He earned his. He was a flabby low-shouldered QB trying to make it in the NFL.
I could see it being words just being added to make it more aesthetically pleasing to make the text horizontally even. Just speaking from experience as a video editor, I could very well see that being the case.
Stop being such a hater. Didn't you catch the 2 second clip of Devlin sitting next to Tannehill in the meeting room? The nerve of some of you.
Also, I love how Tannehill was teaching receivers on the field. That's great leadership right off the bat. I have a lot of love for Matt Moore too. He's such a competitor but at the same time I genuinely believe him when he talks about being the other QB's biggest fan.
HAHAHAHA..... I'm watching the Jets Hard Knocks on NFLN right now..... The funniest thing I ever seen: Cromartie trying to name all his kids. He has to use his hands/fingers to try and count 'em off.
