Yeah...it's better. This way, you can get people who otherwise wouldn't have thought about their defense against crime to start thinking about it.

there is a huge difference for supporting the right to do/own something and promoting the use/ownership of said items.

defense against crime? a gun? really? yes i definitely think everyone in Missouri should rock firearms, you know, for defensive purposes.

    :pity:

If banks can do it why not car dealerships?

i don't think banks should do it either.

i think a lot of the gun fanatics on this board are not understanding what i'm saying (for whatever reason.... i'm trying to be clear). I'm not saying we should ban guns. I just don't see how promoting them in a completely unrelated industry is going to "help" anything.

There are a lot of things i'm an avid collector/hobbiest about... but i don't necessarily want those things being promoted with reckless abandon. Whether a car dealership in Missouri (Misery) promotes car sales with guns or not should have no bearing on your own individual right to collect or own, and i'm not challenging YOUR right to do so.

Anyone swayed into a car purchase because of a gun promotion, is probably not someone who should be owning a gun... even though their record may show they are clean and the government approves their right to own one. It doesn't take a lot to get approved... just no prior rap sheet.

Oh yes I do.. I underestand you perfectly, and do not agree with you. Simple as that. Like Rick, I LIKE the idea they did this.. If they did that here, no doubt within a week one of my buddies would be showing me their new "free" gun.

with NJ, you'd be hard pressed to find a state harder to purchase either alcohol or firearms in. we have state mandated 10pm closings and liquor licenses which make it a very difficult business to break into. and guns, forget it. 3 months if you're lucky, by the time your permit comes back.

its nothing like the movies amigo.

Nothing that can hold a candle to a criminal south floridian hot-bed...or the rest of the country for that matter.

meth is more of a drug dujor to the hill-billys ...

    we're more of a crack-coke-heroine-x-weed group.

and the whore houses, well what choice do we have when our strippers dont go that extra mile, and have to wear clothes if there's liquor served in the institution? believe me, ive been sexually assaulted in a florida strip club, i know what goes on there...and unfortunately, it aint happennin here. but our brothels are really no different than yours, just that our public figures get exposed and yours dont.

Speaking as a foreigner I can guarantee you that America will never be able to satisfy the those sort of people who have negative views about the US and who'll be tut-tutting over something like this.

Think of the people of the world as if they're NFL fans, there'll always be Jets fans somewhere, and if you start worrying about what the Jets fans think of you, well ...
