Bush, Reggie [98] +++1086 rush yards, 296 rec yards 7 TD's Wake, Cameron [377] ----8.5 sacks, 42 tackles, 0 ints, 0 FF, 0 FR
Bush, Reggie [98] ++ Started slow, finished amazing. Wake, Cameron [377] -- Ok start, mediocre down the stretch.
Bush, Reggie [96] - Wake, Cameron [379] + You know, if the Cult wasn't so worried about getting a punter to win, maybe Reggie Bush wouldn't find himself in the position he is currently in. Just food for thought.
Complete horse ****. Cameron Wake has had much more support than Reggie Bush throughout the entirety of this contest. He never had a chance against Wake head to head. Fields did. I thought Fields would have made a fine winner and supporting our stellar punter is nothing I'll ever apologize for. Cameron Wake won this the day UCF and the rest of the movement decided to take a 2 week vacation. I'd love to come up with clever things to say against Cameron Wake, but fact is he's one of my favorite players and if he repeats it's nothing I'll be sad over. I vote for Reggie because he's so much more fun to watch, IMHO. Barring Reggie making a huge splash on the premiere of Hard Knocks Wake has it in the bag. But I'm going to make you all earn it!
I don't know. Bush n' Wake were pretty close for a while. I'd have to go back and check, but I thought the gap started to stretch when the Fields Cult decided to go after Wake. I have nothing against Bush and if he was up against any other player I'd probably vote for him. But Cameron Wake is my favorite current Dolphin.....probably has something to do with him being a former CFLer.
It doesn't really matter what the gap was though. I'll give you they were close in the beginning because early on because it was pretty much me and Dupree voting for the 2 of them respectively and everyone else splitting votes over dark horses or other favorites. But once it got down to it, Cam consistently had more support and more people voting for him than Reggie ever had. The only reason it was ever close after that is because people were voting against Cam because he was the bigger threat. The numbers don't really matter until the very end. If last year proved anything, it doesn't matter how big a lead a player has on other players early on. Remember Chad Henne?
Bush, Reggie [99] +++ Wake, Cameron [376] --- After what Reggie showed last year, in proving EVERYONE wrong, even most of you voting against him... to not vote him a winner in this game is just crazy.
