Was he that bad outside of 2 penalties? I watched on my PS3, it wasn't clear and the game got lost along the line of scrimmage.
He literally got beat everytime the Bucs rushed off his right shoulder. I called it when he got drafted. His biggest weakness will be against speed rushers, and although it was just his first pre season game in the NFL, he got beat probably 10 times tonight in 3 quarters of play.
Yep obvious now. Anyway he got beat a few times, but it wasnt as bad as some here are making it seem.
I was defending martin when i got into the chat with finsbuck, but after he was talking i paid attention, and the kid had a pretty ****ty game all around.

I watched more of him at A&M since the draft, liked him on Hard Knocks, and he looked good tonight. That pick is starting to grow on me. I'm still not a fan of the Martin, Egnew, and Miller picks though. btw, I hope Martin proves me wrong and has an incredible rookie season.
That is probably not debatable, but considering he is a rookie in is his first game, and he is playing on the opposite side of where he played in college, it would be nice if people could take everything into consideration, before overreacting.
Wouldn't it be interesting to have a wr rotation of Pruitt, Fuller, Wallace, Moore, Cunningham, and Bess, and keep Matthews for return game? Add in Clay and Egnew, and get Miller more involved in passing game and you have weapons for Tannehill.
Like I said, the Tannehill pick is definitely growing on me. I think if he sits out this year and plays behind Moore/Garrard and get that year of learning under his belt, he could be as stud. I didn't mind the Vernon pick, although I think we should've addressed DE earlier (I wanted Nick Perry and Vinny Curry the most). and I liked the BJ Cunningham pick. But, for the most part I didn't like this draft too much...especially on draft day.
I do not understand why this thread was moved into the rants sub forum. It has as much good info as the other threads related to the game yesterday.
