Not good, better start voting again Mr. Chaos Universe equalizer or whatever the hell you're calling yourself!
Bush, Reggie [88] ----- Wake, Cameron [387] ++++ This count is eerily similar to the last time I voted (2 days ago)....
i hope i did that right. i havent played this game since teddy ginn and family was in it. i forget the rules
ok i just read the rules. fyi i voted for cameron wake because he a league high 13 holds (i think thats right) and the next best had only 7 holds.
God, I love that he's ours.
Reggie picks up a chick and takes her to Sunlife Stadium (workout ad). lol.
Oh I don't blame you. Wake's a great player. I just love Reggie's glamour, speed, moves, commitment, focus (sets goals and works hard for em), extra time on the field, leadership... plus the booty he gets. lol! Oh and he has a song!! lol. But I decided I respect the kind of person he is after seeing him on "Same Name', where he switched lives with another guy named Reggie Bush. It was great, because you got to see what kind of human being he is. In this era of players who can act entitled, or low character, it was great to see, man. Stuff like this... He learned a lot from that and was humbled by it. I can also identify with a dude whose family has caused problems for him. he hasn;t just had to outrun defenders, but his own family issues.
Funny.
Bush, Reggie [84] - Wake, Cameron [391] + Great videos from Bpk; I enjoyed them all. I have been all about the repeat and the start of Wake dynasty from the start and I will not waiver.
Like I said, I love Wake too. he's a beast. My only thing with Wake is he is more focused on himself, I think, than Reggie is. Like in practice, when another Dlineman gets paired with Jake, Wake insists on switching so he gets to work with Jake. I respect his drive to get better, but in a way, that's not fair to the other dudes who have just as much right to improve with reps against the best linemen. Still, Cam 'lost football' and came back, so that's good. I just like team-players. Plus Reggie is a Pisces. I kinda wish we could have one Offensive Survivor and one Defensive, but whoever wins at this point, I'm good. Just glad it wasn;t the punter. lol.
Watching this I think two things... first, I shudder to see henne back there at QB.... second, I never thought Reggie could run tough between the hashes.
Interesting, as am I. Still doesn't change my goal. Don't get me wrong, I am damn glad Reggie made me eat 16 helpings of crow last year... but once again Wake continues to do what is necessary to morph himself into the role the team wants/needs. He packed on another 10 pounds of muscle to transition into out 4-3. The man is dedicated and I admire the hell out of that. Not to mention, when you have to hold the guy twice as many times as any other pash-rusher out there, that means he is constantly frustrating the hell out of the guys across from him. Add on to that all the non-holding calls... for example the (I think) second Pats game where they basically told their rookie right tackle to just lay on top of (tackle) Wake the entire game and never get called for it.
Just a nice goddamned guy. You don;t get that with guys with his talent level too often. Proud to see him rep our team. Hope we find a way to keep him, even if Lamar Miller develops some.
Can you post vids? I just think there is so much negativity around the Dolphins right now, and in thread son this board that we ought to turn THIS thread into a celebration of the two GREAT guys who are left. Let's be proud of our two finalists and celebrate them. Physical freak, like Wake, but smaller package. LOL.
Reggie on free pizza. lol. And his fave way to eat it.
I'll see what I can find tomorrow... off to bed for the night. Thanks for the night's entertainment though. I enjoyed them all!
Maybe this isn't impressive, but it's part of what I love about Reggie. He gets crushed here. The truth is, he was doubted when he entered the league, told he'd never make it through a season healthy, told he wasn't a real running back, and had people love watching him fail and get crushed. But he kept getting up and believing in himself. I admire it more when someone is down, and goes through adversity, both physical and emotional, with skeptics around them, and still accomplishes what he knows he can. That's a man there. He put up with crap like this constantly... 'a below avergae player who can;t run' ' if he plays 16 games you'll be lucky' ' the guy is a zero' That was par for the course. It takes a mentally strong guy to KNOW who you are through all that constant negativity and come back to how he plays for us today. Hell, without him I don't think we have a rushing attack at this point.
