This is the stuff that pisses me off.

    So let's see....

CM Punk turned heel for no reason.

Kofi Kingston and R-Truth are Tag Team Champions, which would be good.... except they aren't even consistently defended any more.

    Ryder... 'nuff said.

    Miz got downgraded.

Oh, and Jack Swagger, former WHC, is barely a midcarder, which makes me wonder why some of the wrestlers who were around at the time of his reign (MVP, Hardy, Morrison, Benjamin) wasn't give that reign? (Though, I can think of a couple of reasons why MVP and Benjamin wasn't given the strap. And they're not good reasons).

To be fair IMO Jack Swagger is a terrible entertainer and performer. He should never have gotten a title reign and the fact that he did shows the terrible state the company is/was in.

He wasn't ready for the title when he won it. I think it shows you a perfect example of the state of titles and how everyone wins them nowadays.

Trust me, I am not singing Swagger's praises. It ticks me off how the titles are used. It just seems that the people who deserves the top belts, for the most part, are stuck under an adamantium ceiling. Seriously, Swagger of MVP, Morrison, Benjamin? Kofi all of a sudden depushed, despite having a hot feud with Orton?

I don't know, maybe it's just me but I wouldn't have bought Benjamin or Kofi as a World Champion. Morrison and MVP perhaps in time I think could have been there as they both had the look, the gimmick and could work in the ring but not the others. Benjamin and Kofi couldn't really cut a promo, they just both screamed IC/US title material to me.

Neither could Jack Thwagger, but yet there he was, with the whc reign.

Well it's not like he's the worst WHC ever (cough Khali cough)....

But hey I agree he was a poor choice, especially since the WWE didn't get behind him at all once he won the belt.

First, nothing to do with your post but do you go to FAU? I may be going there next semester for grad school!

2nd, this is the perfect transition for CM Punk to get rid of "Cenas" title with his respect angle

And to add to Ray and I's back and forth, I really do think too much can be put into promo skills. Chris Benoit wasn't exactly the best at promos, for example, but he did well as champ, no?

Nice! I have two friends that go there, ill be down there for good in December

Anyway, raw sucked agian. The HBK arm "breaking" really did nothing. Maybe because his "beat down" was not shown. But that took away from HBK getting his assed kicked by Lesnar. The PG era really ruins moments like this that could have been down well, and made me more invested in this story line. All we got was Lesnar moving HBK arm a certain way and we are to believe its broken. Show me Lesnar kicking HBK ***. Make me believe it

So I saw a bit of Raw tonight and it was Ryback. I can't help but think they are trying to turn him into Goldberg. Also really disappointed with his Finisher.

For whatever reason the WWE just doesn't want to change that title. They must be making a lot of money off of it. The perfect time to change the title was last summer when CM Punk returned. I think we'll be keep this ugly belt for a while longer still.

No Benoit's title reign was pretty mediocre outside of his title win and the triple threat match at the very next PPV in Canada. Although part of the problem might have been that although he was the champion he wasn't main eventing any PPVs, and was treated like a 2nd rate wrestler compared to Triple H. Hey just fill in CM Punk's main instead of Benoit and Cena's name over Triple H, see the WWE doesn't really change ever.

But yeah Benoit's reign was poor as he was never really given the ball to run with, probably due to his poor mic skills or perhaps him stuck in a feud with Kane while Triple H got to wrestle Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels worked a program with Flair. Benoit was never really given a chance and never got the belt back because of it. I think his title win was more for the fans and a thank you to Benoit for being great in the ring. There was never any long term plans for him as the champion.

I always thought the WWE should have a "minor" league show, so I like that idea. But boy is that belt ugly. Who's designing these things Triple H & Stephanie's 8 year old?

Based on last night's Triple H/Brock match, speculation and Shawn Michaels tweeter feed, it sure looks like we're going to get HBK vs. Triple H at WM29 next year. Michaels talking about how Triple H's career shouldn't end in that way etc etc. Serious question does anyone want to see another Triple H vs. HBK match? I mean if Michaels is going to come back for 1 more match I'd much rather see HBK vs. Brock Lesnar or HBK vs. The Rock instead.

Also poor Punk, still can't get that main event match at a PPV.

If HBK has another match in him it should be vs. The Rock. If I remember right he missed most of the Rock's heyday so it seems like the two could be a good draw.

Did Punk retain his title last night?

Yes, Rock debuted in November '96, Michaels retired for good in April '98, so they were around each other but never wrestled do to being face and heels almost at the same times.

    And yes Punk retained.

I heard rumors that Rock has no interest in ever working with HBK because HBK was disrespectful to his grandmother way before the Rock was in the WWE and then when the Rock came up, and HBK tried to hold the rock back. It would make sense because HBK was a jerk back in the day.

With that said, if HBK were going to have a match, against the Rock would be a match I would love to see

Yeah that's the rumor, but hey money talks and if Bret Hart can forgive HBK, I'm sure The Rock would/could. It would be an amazing match and one of the last true dream matches left.

Its so weird how every time Jericho has a Fozzy tour he seems to lose a loser leaves the WWE match or gets a serious "injury" that leaves him unable to wrestle for a few years.

Also good to see the WWE ran out of ideas so let's just have a wrestler beat up Lawler. Hopefully that doesn't set up a 3 way at the next PPV with Cena vs. Punk vs. Lawler (sadly I'm only half kidding).

Yeah Fozzy is touring until March. Jericho will be back though, he loves going on this short runs and helping enhance talent and help put them over. The main reason why he came back this spring was to help put over Punk even more. It's too bad some guys (cough Triple H cough) don't do that more. Jericho is a real pro.

That was hilarious. Ryback dropped swagger on his head last night and swagger spent the rest of the match rubbing his neck probaly trying to get some feeling back. Have a feeling that didn't go over so well in the back. anger management skits were the best part of the show. don't know if that's a good thing or bad, leaning toward bad.
