Remember when we had Ted Ginn and Greg Camarillo? Man, that was awesome. Guess good things never last. Oh well...
Right now, Brandon Marshall, with Chad Johnson as the second receiver and Bess as the slot receiver certainly seems like a major upgrade over the group the Dolphins have now. Oh yea, I forgot. The Dolphins were more concerned with guys who follow the party line, than with players who might actually catch the football. I admit that I was never a fan of Marshall and I thought that Johnson was probably well past his prime. Yet after watching the game tonight and seeing the WR's on the roster, I would gladly welcome Marshall and Johnson back on this team. I think Tannehill would too.
I'm starting to wonder if this calf injury of Hartline's isn't just another mysterious 'Matt-Roth-type-injury' that just won't heal without a new contract.
yeah. There is NO WAY we can release Hartline because he's injured and is taking up a roster spot on the 53 now. I've completely done a 180 on that line of thinking. And I'm not afraid to point that out.
There are other receivers besides Marshall, Johnson, Camarillo, Ginn, Welker... just so happens those other receivers play for everyone else.
Ted Ginn gone = Nolan Caroll Brandon Marshall gone = Michael Egnew + future 3rd round bum if Ireland is retained.
I don't get all the love for Chad...what did anyone see of him this TC that makes you think he's any better than what we have ?? I didn't see the Chad of old, just the old personality... Don't get me wrong, our WRs, as a whole suck, but I didn't see anything in CJ that made me feel differently...
It would be a good move I think. He would be a threat in the red zone... something we are lacking right now. Badly.
Quote from Rotoworld. And yes, they got the wrong tight end on the drop (Fasano): Tannehill failed to top the 50 percent mark for the second consecutive game, producing a 37.9 passer rating. He would have fared better if not for a dropped touchdown by TE Jeron Mastrud. Though the No. 8 overall pick is loaded with potential, his fantasy value is in the tank thanks to a receiver corps that rivals the Cardinals offensive line for worst positional unit in the league. Tannehill has completed 36-of-71 passes (50.7 percent) for 379 yards (5.3 YPA) and a 1:1 TD-to-INT ratio through three preseason games.
I was never a Marshall fan but, that comment made me lmao................................then cry a little.
