Thanks man. I know it was something a little heavy to drop on a video game forum. I just felt the need to share it with someone, and why I wanted to be the Raiders.
This isnt just a video game forum man. We are all friends here. Thanks for sharing, and please pm me if you need anything, or just wanna talk!
Yes you did well my man, talking about is ALWAYS the best thing, even if it is with a bunch of people whom you never met.... Ditto DD, PM me if you need anything bro.....but dont ask to kiss me cuz the answer is no you silly freak....
Definitely can understand that. When idea of another franchise first started I thought of several teams, but 49ers were top and saw someone else wanted them. Then I almost said Eagles but decided against it. Chiefs are more middle of the pack and have some interesting elements, though feels like I lean toward a different team every day. Plus, I couldn't take a team that didn't play you at least once Dupree. AFC pride!
Okay last question homeboys and girls..... I sign up, playing is awesome but the time doesn't work out and I cant do it for the full 10 seasons.....after the season we are playing in is over, can I if need to, back out? and you guys will be alright.... Again believe me my intention is to play and ride this thing out, but if I cant I in no way shape or form want to hinder what yall are doing...
Yes man. Once this thing gets going, late people will be missing out and chomping at the bit to join.
No. If you don't play all 10 seasons we will come to your house to "teach you a lesson". Also we'll show your boss those incriminating photos we have of you from the Christmas Party. Let's just say it's in your best interest to see it through.
10 is the maximum amount of seasons you can play with one online franchise but doubt we see that. Between needing probably on average around a week to advance each in-game week, and people eventually losing interest or having real life commitments. With the Madden 10 online franchise we got through three full seasons before things fizzled on the fourth.
I.E.....just shut the eff up with all these stupid *** questions and play jackrod.... damn Chris!!! All violent....
I've never really played Madden, only a hand full of times at a friends house. How hard is the competition It seems pretty fun.
It varies from player to player. Some guys are really good, and I'm and average player. Overall it's a lot of fun because of the spirit of the competition.! Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
Like finsincebirth said, it varies and the more players who sign up the bigger a range we'll have. With a lot of us going from 10 to 13, some of us may be better or worse with the new game as well. I love the online franchise because besides just the competition and playing others, you get a team that you get to mold yourself. Which playbooks, type of offense, type of defense, try to make trades, sign free agents, use the Draft to better your team, etc. Guess I will pick this up tomorrow afternoon, go Chiefs.
I probably won't be able to get it until Friday. That's when I get paid, and my fiancée is in town this week so I don't think she'd be too happy if I ignored her for football. Side note: does everyone want to play preseason? Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
In connected careers you do not just take over a team like in the olden days (Madden 2012 and before). you take over the team as a coach. . You have the choice between taking over a coach that is currently employed or creating your own coach. I haven't played the game, however my understanding is that coaches that are created have different and easier to obtain goals than coaches who are experienced. Yet coaches with experience also have more bonuses. I vote for no preseason and coaches cannot be fired.
Madden is getting RAVE reviews.....wow I kinda want in this league, what is the drop dead date I have to make a decision by.... http://games.yahoo.com/blogs/plugged-in/critics-hard-hitting-madden-best-years-213337848.html
Question: IS this like before where you get an access code when you buy the game? Or can I rent the game with my blockbuster blue card, and play the online franchise until I can afford to buy it in a couple of weeks?
I'm going to assume access code. However I believe you can buy a new access code from ea. Buy the code and then rent the game. In a few weeks buy a used copy of madden. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2
Now I'm just curious. So I want to join this franchise/connected career deal, but with my friends I'm going to run another. With this connected careers thing is that going to cause a problem? If so I'll just do this one.
I put Miami as my favorite team and EA sent my a sympathy letter. heh I wanted to start with the Chiefs and get that practice in, but couldn't resist not playing with our team. It is fun playing with Tannehill and Bush; had Vontae get me a pick six.
Had two disconnections on my end which resulted in losses, one game I was winning pretty easily too, hate taking a loss for something out of my control but oh well. Have a friend that's a Bucs fan that may join up, not sure what team he'll want.
Heres an interesting question, if I rent Madden with my blockbuster blue pass, and buy a $10.00 access code to play online, will that code work for a used copy of madden if I buy it in a few weeks?
I'm guessing the pass is connected to your PSN-ID and that's what matters, not the disc you use. FAQ about online passes. http://www.easports.com/onlinepass
My friend wants to play. I'll have him register and post later but he wants Baltimore. I'd also like to switch to Green Bay.
