Just get it out of the way.. Jeff Ireland impressed me, I really like how he communicates with people,I believe this show has cast a completely different light on the guy..almost opposite of the perception, loved how he handled Vontae, and we know that Philbin and him decided this very amicably..Impressive dealings with the colts, the guy has potential. Take care Vontae, freakin missile, but after that show, I just don't know what's goin on in that kids head.. he's gonna hear it the rest of his life.."I wanna call my gramma...I admit, I choked on my beer.lol...ahhhh sh&$.. Can we talk about how impressive SS24 is...I saw mirroring skills that were sick for a man that size, the quickness and reactions were outstanding fast, the confidence, wow man, that was badass in every sec he was on film. For those of you that projected that correctly, Rafs, Alen, CK, and others, nice call..I still. Believe VD was the better corner the past three, but damn, see what kind if jump taking the craft seriously can do for a talented athlete..?..I gushed about him the first four days in practice so what were seeing now is what he's been doing, and his emergence could of made that trade a bit easier, we're gonna have to pay that dude. Did you see the way pounces chick looked at him when they were at dinner, she said, " y'all gotta win, cause I can't take the heat basically..I laughed hard, she been a fan for a couple years and she's desperate..lol, she was hot though, like to see what MR Clean could do with that in a sig, I know he was drooling. Philbin...let's just say, I like him a lot when he's pissed off..This mother grabber is serious about this sh&$.. Hey, he saw it firsthand how it's done in green bay, I saw many encouraging things in his style, so I'm feeling better about the rebuild..don't mind if we call it that either. Really hbo, 10 fu&$in minutes of eric steinbac, IMO, that call was all Philbin, and it's obvious these two have a good working relationship, and a lot of that credit should go to Ireland.. It looks to me from all the other hard knock shows, that we treat our cuts with the most dignity.. Man crush..Dan Cambell, better not let that dude go anywhere else. So impressed with MiKe Sherman, the guy doesn't leave anything in the tank..Loved how he called out Jake to finish, loved the coaching staffs angle of protecting your teammates, picking your running back off the fu&$ing ground...Jake would never let Ricky off the turf without a hand... Richie incognito is a good player, with the best mindset on that line, he got to the 2 nd level and destroyed his opponent..beautiful aggression. It's obvious there are some bad habits on this team, losing culture,Moore walking around at the end confused saying, "we talk about urgency and there never is any" was telling, the team is disconnected at this point, but I think it's ok, takes time to break'em, and this is how it's got to be if you want to support the coach..gotta trust him. Those two wives are smoking hot. Nice our Qb has no clue about teams in divisions buddy..lol.
DJ, with the way Sean is beasting people "SS24" is starting to sound more like a warship than Sean's initials & jersey number, no?
dude was beastin folks...he's not losing his ground in the comeback routes, he used to take a lot of extra steps in recovery..did you see his read that slant and jump it like a cat?
.... and it's not like like he's just breaking up the passes, it's like he's crumpling receivers like a fold-up beach chair in the process...... like a giant spider web is being shot over them. I'm trying not to get overly excited about him, but I just cant help but get excited about him.
Originally i wasn't sure if I liked the pick b/c I wasn't sure if his light would come on in time, but now it's looking like he was actually worth the wait.
Pouncey's girl was BY FAR the hottest female that has been on this season's Hard Knocks. The other wives/GFs are like infield singles, while she is a grand slam into the upper deck in comparison.
i liked the episode, only to much time invested in eric steinbach, that could have been used somewhere else, also would have liked to see how the team reacted to the vontae trade
can someone explain to me what dan campbell meant when he said "throw down" to les brown after the catch in practice ?
It means to challenge someone. Like when you throw down the gauntlet, you challenge the person you threw it down in front of, to a duel or fight.
After he got slammed to the ground by Jones. You can see by the reaction the other coaches had after it, like it was an unnecessary blow. A veteren just putting an undrafted free agent in his place. Campbell wanted him to stand up for himself and get him back or "throw down", you heard Fasano say "why didn't you hit him man". Like don't let the defense ***** the offense like that.
Am I wrong for thinking that nobody should have told Les that stuff? Les is focused on football. He got hit good, and he got back up. So what. It was within the rules of the practice, even if it was harder than normal. Les got up, and continued with practice. A complete "I'm focused on busting my *** off for the Dolphins" mentality. Why should he go back and hit him? Boo hoo, you hit me a bit too hard? Les doesn't care. His mind doesn't compute, that you are going to lose respect for him because his Dolphins teammate hit him hard after he caught the ball. Seems dumb. I guess I am wrong since most of you disagree with me, but it feels like that is stupid. TE Coach should not have told him that. Just tell Les to hit him hard ON THE NEXT PLAY if the opportunity arises... but not "throw down" and fight the guy simply cause he's trying hard and got a good hit on les. Les took it like a man and got right back up... I dunno. I just feel that is dumb.
One thought I had on the show was Ireland and his kids. I know the nfl has very long hours for front office staff. Having his kids coloring in his office seemed like a heart warming touch. It would be great to be allowed to do that.
As good as Dan Campbell is, I think you have to feel a little more certain blaming players like Michael Egnew if they don't develop on this team.
i think the overall point was to play with more toughness and agressiveness... Its not about throwing down, the first thing Campbell said was that Les should have run him over, because its about the physical aspect of the game Les struggles with... blocking, holding blocks, delivering punishment to secondary members, etc... I think they know its the physicality of the game and his toughness that needs the most work, like Ireland said he struggled with the pads on... trying to encourage him to get more physical
Some of the stuff coming out about DTrain is distrubing, got to be honest here. Missing a flight, 15 minutes late, dude is acting like a teenager. IMO, on thing the show has done is really expose how clueless the reporters who cover the team are, or at best they feel they are friends with the players so they don't tell us the truth or even mention some things..like reporters are supposed to do.. Recall a certain reporter saying the players thought Pruitt was really going to shine? Yeah, that was funny.
...yyyyeaah, I'm pretty sure it's well demonstrated by now that when a recipe calls for you to "salt to taste" you immediately grab the pepper.
it's a mindset E, throughout the show we saw numerous attempts to show the importance of changing this particular teams mentality to an aggressive one..I freakin loved it..
...or ginger....... or paprika. I think MrClean may have high blood pressure and prefers to reduce his sodium intake.
yeah, I liked it too, DougyFresh. Thought Campbell was just trying to teach his puppy how to bite is all.
He's got a nice frame, and his vertical is mainly genetics, it tells me he didn't do sh&$ in college, tells me he didn't understand the importance of athletic training, his self awareness did not tell him that he had the potential of a high draft pick, and that he should get off his *** and get in the gym to capitalize. Why doesn't anyone in his click tell him that he's a stock, and there are ways to make that stock jump when your born with good genetics. Stand that boy up to jimmy graham, long way to go..dude better get on it.
Have to disagree. I think Chad Johnsons wife is the hottest. In regards to Tannehills and Longs Wives, hope both players haves stashed a lot of cash because both are trying to play cupie doll and IMO, would take their husbands to the woodshed in a heartbeat. Both are definately not my type of woman and yeah, I am a white boy so as some do not think I am racist because both are white
I think Jake's wife is the best of the white girls. Even though Pouncey's girl looks the best to me, she also looks like she could be high maintenance. It seems like there could some fire in those eyes too.
Chads wife is too violent and scary to be hot anymore. I don't see Mrs Long as a trophy wife who'd clean out his accounts. And you are the worst kind of racist. The one who is racist against themself. I also think its horrible that you ds t mention the Chinese wife. She's gorgeous.
Hotness is strictly visual and tactile. Character is irrelevant unless you marry them, which was Ocho's mistake.
