AJ catches 8-10 for well over 100 yards and 2 td's, Fasano drops 4 passes, one in the EZ, Houston 34-10
A week ago I said no chance. Now as the game gets closer I think we have a slight chance and I get a little more excited to see a game, one in which we're at .500 and tied for first place (maybe for the only time this season) Really depends on how good our running game and run defense play, because I'd be shocked if we stopped their passing attack.
We're going to win!! I guarantee a win. We have the element of surprise in our back pocket. Figuratively... there's really nothing in our back pocket of course. Plus football pants don't have pockets. I mean what the hell are you going to carry in your back pocket on the football field? Your mouth piece? We know what the Texans do. It's not a surprise. They don't know what we do though. They haven't seen it. They may think we've shown it in preseason but we haven't. By the time they figure out what hit them, we'll be on a beach earning 6 percent! Honestly it comes down to conditioning in these early games. If we are the better conditioned, healthier team in the fourth quarter... we have a shot!!! Look at the Cowboys last night vs the Giants. Nobody gave them a chance to win that game... They dominated the fourth quarter. And it helped that the Giants were down to their 8th string cornerback. If we can move the ball offensively in our hurry up mode, we can slow them down defensively and we might be able to score! The importance of first downs early on cannot be understated.
I just watched last years game vs the Giants and I'm pumped! If we can look like we did in that game for 3 and a half quarters, we've got this! We've got smarter coach, Bush, Wake, SS24 , Bess, Dansby and others all exceding last years performance. We should be better conditioned than them with running so many more plays in the off-season. The time for debating and analizing what we could have is over, sit back support your boys and lets kick some Texan ***!
Well I am sure if they had a poll or a betting line on David and Goliath it would look alot more lopsided than this poll. AGAIN no one is saying an upset cant happen, but looking at the new coach, rookie QB, bad WR corp, iffy OL, thin secondary, compaired to a 2011 playoff team? Until Miami proves otherwise why should anyone be optimistic about their chances? If you are so optimistic and sure the Phins will win put ur paycheck on it then.
That would be a problem considering you're not playing the Titans. If you were the end result would still be the same............
I don't believe we will win. I just think we will have a really difficult time scoring points. I like Tannehill, but we screw the pooch too much and it leads to too many 3 and outs. I don't relying on our defense out of the gates either. Neither Dansby or Burnett have played very much. I don't have much faith in the back 4. It could get ugly, and it could get ugly quick. I really just want to compete and have an opportunity to win the game in the 4th quarter. I think it'll be 30-13 with a tack on TD at the end to get 13.
Arian Foster is a game time decision on Sunday with knee issues. He obviously heard of my guarantee and is choosing wisely to sit this one out (rather than get destroyed).
I hear Andre Johnson feels bad for our secondary and is playing the game with one hand tied behind his back.
I'm going to be watching this one after the fact on Game Pass. If we get blown out, it isn't going to be an easy or enjoyable viewing.
I think every time we lose, assuming we don't go undefeated, yuck yuck yuck, I'm going to change to a new signature girl. Try to find the one who'll give us good luck. Hey, it's not scientific, but it's the best I got right now.
I've probably already thrown my .02 in here stating it ain't gonna happen, but ya know? Weirder things have happened.
I Like it! Of course, I also really like the one you are currently sporting. So, now I don't know whether to hope for a win or a loss.
I have super low expectations for this game so I should enjoy this game either way but I see at least a 2 td loss
That's basically impossible. You wouldn't be able to watch any other game over the weekend. I've thought about trying this too. On top of that I wouldn't be surprised if NFL.com has the scores up when you go to access the games.
Just heard on a betting segment that this is the largest mover of the week. Started out in the single digits and jumped sharply up with everyone taking Houston. Crazy. Also said to stay away from New England (sharp money early in the week was taking Tenn)
