http://www.miamidolphins.com/media/...e-Speech/81eeb17f-b37e-4e2d-9fdd-dfa0560392da Unfortunately, it's been edited down... so no dancing. Still worth a look... Plus I'd encourage you all to check his press conference from yesterday, he gets real emotional in the middle when he brings up his family being there (at the 5:30 mark): http://www.miamidolphins.com/media/..._Oakland/ba9c5ba0-66e8-4058-bccc-06214823be14
That's incredibly sad that it appears he's realizing perhaps for the first time in front of all those people that his son was not there to share his first win as a head coach. Incredibly sad. As a father I can't even imagine how that feels.
Boomer's write up of him in the Club a few weeks before his hire convinced me that he was the guy. Philbin is quality
i also encourage you to take a look at his latest presser from today... when asked who stood out the most on the oline yesterday he mentioned richie and pouncey and when asked about who stood out in run defense he said surprisingly cameron wake
I know what u mean man. I think.....you just expressed something only a parent can truly understand what your saying. It shows an immense ammount of strength, and it appears as though this team recognizes it...
Just got around to watching the locker room speech, Jonathan Martin looks so damn happy. He kept smiling throughout the whole speech lol.
Kid came from a great running program, and was coached by the best, couple of positive things. Just needs to dedicate himself.
Not at all. Cam Cameron was a micromanager to the extreme. Philbin has great attention to detail but let's his staff do their job.
no doubt still smiling from Stanford beating USC on Sat. night. He probably peed his pants in elation.
Who reported Philbin dancing during the postgame? I wonder how the players reacted? It seems completely out of character from everything we've seen in Hard Knocks..LOL!
Just saw the press conference. That was nice. And I love that Philbin mentioned another thing I've been screaming for the past few years: Good offense makes the defense better.
I don't see dedication being a problem with this kid. He was horrendous in the preseason. Haven't heard his name mentioned since. That's good news for a rookie RT.
He could be better if he had taken his weight training more serious, if he gets it early he will be much better for our future.
I've been pretty impressed by his growth from preseason game 1 until now. I don't have any way to judge his training regime but his technique seems to have improved a lot.
