Without any intentions to do so, I will become a proud owner of a PS3 on Friday. I won't get to play a lot of sport games, but I decided if I will play one - it'll be NCAA FOotball. My question is which one of the later ones (9 and up) is the best? I will most likely play through in a career as a player and then become a coach. Franchise mode if you will (forgot what it's actually called) I've done some reading around the web, but I'm interested in hearing what you guys have to say, I know we have a lot of sports games fans on here.
Not really on a budjet, just can't justifiy to myself spending $60 on a game I wont play a whole lot. I work 6 days a week, and Sundays are...well you know. Can't imagine playing more than 2-3 hours a night 4-5 days a week. Too many Sony exclusives I want to try before focusing on NCAA. God of War, Unharted, Heavy Rain. You get the idea.
It's kind of difficult to explain. The gameplay just feels way smoother to me. NCAA 13 isn't a bad option though.
I got 09 for about 4 bucks and 08 for somewhere around the same. Both are very arcadey but also quite fun. I know the gameplay has changed a lot since then but I bet you can get the older ones for dirt cheap. hell, last year's should be cheap too- they don't hold resale value well obviously.
Only recent college game I've played is 12' and I thought it was pretty good, probably closest to 13 game play wise without the price tag.
I get the NCAA's every 2 years. I agree with the above poster that said NCAA Football 11. You can get it for cheap and since it's a college game, you don't have to worry about rosters. I thought it was pretty fun. I bought NCAA 13 this year, and to be honest, it's very underwhelming.
I would say 12, the price is completely justified for the time you have to play it. At my local game shop its 19.99. That is a more than fair price
