^Did not know that...AZ has struggled to run the ball so far which is a good thing for us. Wake needs to get to Kolb.
Defensively the gameplan is simple. We are allowing an impressive 2.5 ypc against 3 teams who WANT to run the ball, we're facing an offense that can't run the ball. They have no real threat at TE...so in short we must slow down their WRs. Sean Smith needs to shadow Fitzgerald while getting consistent help. Nolan Carrol SHOULDN'T be too bad off on Floyd, what worries me is Andre Roberts/ Doucet on whoever is in the nickel. Ofcourse a solid pass rush makes everyone in the secondaries job easier, but that hasn't been US thus far. Cam Wake and Odrick will have by far their easiest matchups against Some questionable at best OT's. Perfect time to breakout a pass rush vs a mistake prone QB. Offensively??? We need to run behind the Left side/middle of our OL, having Dockett out is huge. Pounce will likely destroy Dan Williams and their Lbs as a whole are average. Use the Bush/Miller/ Thomas/ Lane combo and play boring football and we can control this game. Oh yea, and make your GD field goals. Miami 20-17.
Cardinal linebackers are far from horrible. Sam Acho and Paris Lenon are average at this stage in their careers but Daryl Washington is playing like an all pro this year and is becoming a dominant force at his position. Arizona has overachieved thus far which has led to them being slightly overhyped. We match up very well against them and I expect this to be a great defensive game. Low scoring 17-13 type of finish with hopefully us coming out on top.
will vonnie holliday get the start if duckett cant go? i really liked him when he was with us as a player/leader and person can we stop there pass game ? i have my doubts if we cant run on them we in deep trouble! lets see some pass rush from our front 4 starks and wake need some others to help out !! difficult game for us especially after giving the game away last week!
Even though we lost, we beat the spread. Damn I really wish I could have laid a bet on this game I could have gotten out of Afghanistan early!!!
