Your stat line is against teams with a .376 winning % (as you yourself noted you haven't played anyone of note ... save your loss) while ours stat line is against a .625 team winning %. We have to get over the hump sometime thus my guess is now against you guys.

A true test for both teams imo. Dolphins by 6

Hence, my suggestion to take 45 seconds and do a little research.

It's an enhanced Texas A&M offense. I'm just sayin' that Tannehill has a better understanding of this offense than you might think.

I see this game going the same way as most of our others. We will push them around, fail to score touchdowns then give up the big play to lose.

two extremely close OT loses back to back... the first one was pretty much due to our horrid kicker choking bad. its a bad taste in the mouth... and the team is over due for a win, they are going to take it out on someone, whether in a good way or bad, just not sure who yet. I firmly believe that playing hungry can be a real occurance in correlation with how well you can play.... we are also a suprisingly good road team. I just think this is the week.... either way best of luck to ya kittens. make sure you come back to discuss after the game regardless of outcome (i.e. laugh at us)

yep, thanks, we've been over this. I got it now. an I'm sure he's fairly comfortable in this offense, he's still only faced 4 NFL Defenses, and he's lost to 3 of them. In no way shape or form am i saying he's not any good, he is, in fact I think he's the most pure Rookie QB this season, tossup between him and RG3 for who's best, but that doesn't mean he's as good as Andy Dalton, especially at this stage in his career.

I see this one being extremely close again. If the Dolphins can limit themselves to 1 turnover we win the game; anymore than that, we lose. This cincy guy is already making miss the classy guys from AZ last week. Trolls are trolls.

but still you are too easily dismissive, he set a franchise record against one of those losses in yards gained and is second in the NFL for the same for all rookies. now am I saying automatically he is just gonna destroy all comers? no. but I am saying that you way underestimate him/team based solely on won loss records. you seriously need to do some research here and have some facts before you come in here and just spew your diatribe all over the place...

I don't know about prediction for this weekend in particular but I am worried about this team's health and depth.

Someone brought up on twitter an interesting point that the improved special teams play signifies that the depth on the roster is better than in previous years. It's an interesting point and I'd love to see if it plays out that way but unfortunately I don't agree. I tend to think of that as mostly an either/or bargain. You often are faced with the choice of keeping good special teams players instead of good depth players, or vice versa.

As the season goes on normal wear and tear will tend to take out some of our key players. Again I have to go back to training camp and preseason when Brian Hartline's absence made us all suicidal about the wide receivers unit. We're a re-strained calf muscle away from that again. We'd also have issues all over the secondary if anyone gets hurt (and that may already start to take form this weekend, apparently). Any one of those linebackers goes down and we could have serious problems. I think they're over-using Jared Odrick and Randy Starks especially in pass rush, so if either of them goes down that will also be something which could be a problem. And of course Cameron Wake is the best football player on the team, if he goes down that's a big time ouch not just because of how good he is but because of how bad his replacements are. Similar with Jake Long and Mike Pouncey, great players with bad backups.

I'm concerned that with everyone healthy and peaking we're still only 1-3 while having played three bad teams. What happens when we're not healthy and we're playing better teams?

Three bad teams? You think one of Houston or Arizona is bad?

Yes, Arizona is a bad football team, and it showed last night. The offensive line is terrible and can't pass protect against anyone. Kevin Kolb is not even close to safe with the football. The ground game is non-existent. The secondary has some talent but they're beatable especially William Gay, Greg Toler and Kerry Rhodes (who was the primary guy that blew that coverage on the 80 yard Hartline TD). Stopping the run on the perimeter is and probably will be a problem, and I think as we go along teams will figure out more ways to pick up and beat their blitz tendencies.

Wins against the Patriots and Eagles had a lot more to do with problems that were bubbling over on both teams, than it did Arizona actually being a good team.

It was hard for me to buy the hype on Arizona before we played them but the records were what they were. After we played them, it was obvious there was more hype than substance with that team. That became even more obvious last night, and I think we're going to see that becoming even more obvious as we go on and they have to start playing the 49ers (x2), Falcons, Packers, Bears, Lions, Vikings, the Rams again. And Seattle's probably going to want some vengeance as well. I would be surprised if they won more than 2 games from here on out.

Dolphins need to show me they can be more than a team that does just enough to lose against teams that may be slightly better or equal.

I'll go 27-24 Bengals. Probably with a big AJ Green touchdown in the 4th quarter to put them ahead.

I'm not sure that the Rams game said that much to me. Thursday night on the road is generally a losing proposition. I don't think the Cardinals are very good, but they are likely an average team.

They already beat the Raiders and came awful close against the Jets and Cardinals. Clearly they can win a game.

But beating the Bengals will be different from taking advantage of a BAD Raiders team that is traveling cross country on a short week in the hot sun with black uniforms and injured players. It'll be different even from coming close against a poor Jets team and an overrated Cardinals team.

Beating the Bengals would be walking into a good team's own house at a time when they're getting healthy and have a lot of things going for them, at a time when your own depth is about to get tested because of an injury, and walking out of there with the W.

That would be a new development.

marshall out, not gonna help an already shaky/weak secondary that was going to have their hands full with our WR's anyways. How's Reggies Hip treated him lately? seriously I haven't heard anything about it since Wed. and was just wondering how he feels.

My keys were stopping the combination of A.J. Green and Andrew Hawkins, whom the Bengals will work off of one another with Hawkins in the slot. Stopping Green didn't become any more or less likely with the injury to Marshall, but stopping Hawkins did.

There's no news on Reggie's knee. He did say he felt some issues with it during the Cardinals game and that it's getting better slowly and will take time. He's probably still somewhat afflicted.
