Gaffney isn't active? Is he not fully healed? I'd take him at 80% with limited knowledge of the playbook over all of our WRs not named Hartline or Bess.

 

So we sign a WR, cut a WR, and don't replace him on the active roster with a WR. Makes total sense. Ugh.

But hey, lets throw him out there w/out 100% knowledge of the playbook and a few days of practice.

 

Hmm, Tannehill is going to have another big game, Dunlap was a solid pass rusher, and 2/4th of their secondary is new, with Clements playing out of position.

 

Not talking about Gaffney. Activate Matthews.

 

I get he doesn't know the playbook, but its not like our other WR's have done anything.

I'm betting its because Gaffney isn't fully healed yet, otherwise he'd be out there even with limited knowledge. Maybe he'll be ready by next week, but at least Miami has the bye week, so he'll be healthy by the Jets game if he still doesn't play in the Rams game.
