It will probably be Finnegan on hartline because fisher will want him to get into his head (not sure if it will work or not though) and the rams are decent at turnovers they have 8 INT ranked 4th in the league and are tied with the Fins for 4th in sacks.

How is Bradford doing? Is he still the second coming of Pennington?

our WR's and inconsistency on offense as a whole. At times our offense looks amazing but then at times we look like the worst in the NFL (in my opinion)

He is doing decent with the WRs he has to throw to and being that our entire O-line (even though they have held up) and held the cardinals and seahawks to a total of 3 sacks combined consists of all 2nd and third stringers besides our RG.

I am almost willing to bet besides Amendola not many people can name another WR (maybe Gibson if people play enough fantasy)

That doesn't sound so good for your offense. Our defense is pretty disciplined. Our punter usually sets them up with terrific field position, as well.

How the heck has your o-line performed that well with all backups...That's pretty impressive against your competition.

What's going on with Steven Jackson? Is the groin really bothering him or is he and the new staff just not a good fit? I saw that they voided the last year of his contract earlier this week.

Amendola being out really helps us, their oline is not that good, and our front 7 is becoming dominat..

Bottom line, we make people one dimensional, and we have the premier rusher in the game..

Quinn, Long, and James L are formidable, how are you all against the run?, I know you got Langford holdin it down?

    Welcome to the site..

The stat seems a little off when you look at it because we didnt have Brockers in the middle till we played seattle but our run defense has done pretty well. Steve smith is active for this game to take amendola's spot so we will see and IDK what to think about this o-line cause I was amazed to see us stop seattles amazing line as well as the cardinals so who knows. When it comes to one dimension I have seen that Fisher does not care we still run and pass evenly just because it is nearly impossible to stop a 275 pound 6'3 RB from gaining at least 2 yards.

Sounds like it will be a low scoring game with 2 good defenses.
Just depends on who's offense shows up.
Sounds like your offense is a coin flip and ours is steadily improving with a rookie QB that looks more like a veteran every week.
I'm sure the Rams have a good pass rush, but pressure doesn't seem to faze Tannehill, he actually plays better under pressure IMO.
How's the Rams run defense? I think our run game is a coin flip. It was one of the best for the first couple of weeks but has declined the last couple of weeks IMO. Of course Reggie banged up his knee and hasn't quite been the same since. Some argue whether he is 100%, others say its more mental. We have 3 good RB's but they all have their pros and cons.
Hartline and Bess are pretty productive, and we are starting to use our RB and FB in the passing game more and more, I expect a heavier dose of that next week. How are your LB's in pass coverage?
If your offense out plays ours in would have to be through the air IMO. Sean Smith is looking good lately but he doesn't get any help from the safety. And who knows who our other CB will be. I wonder if Marshall will play next week.
One of our weakness' is covering good TE's.
I think it will be a close game but Miami will win 20-13

The only thing is (and I am not proud of it) our team takes a lot and I mean a lot of shots on the QB sometimes in my opinion cheap ones. If you watched the Cardinals game you know what I mean. Out of the 50 passes thrown kolb was hit on 38 of them. I will sadly say that I will guarantee this forum will address how dirty the rams are either during or after the game. Ironically we have gregg williams son as our coordinator.

When it comes to covering LBs that is one part we excel with james and DunBar.

Also our TE is becoming a focal point of our offense so hopefully we can take advantage of that.

Him and brockers have basically shut down the run game and closed the pocket so that is why Quinn gets in so much because the QB cants step up.

I feel the same way but this guy is nice and informative. I value the info so I can have a good feeling early on if we will win or lose as the game goes on. If a fan says their team is good at something and we shut that down, it makes me feel good about the game. If they say they are weak at something and we don't take advantage of it, it upsets me and vice versa. The only teams i really know like the back of my hand is the AFC East.

Without Amendola they are not that explosive, basically only have to worry about Gibson. Jackson will not be able to run against our front 7 and Bradford is inconsistent, he can be pressured into mistakes. If we play like we did today, we win easily.

We hit the QB a lot without getting sacks. Sounds like your team is much more aggressive from what you are describing, but we have a lot of hurries and split second would-be sacks.
Tannehill is turning into a Peyton Manning type at the line but not really with good audibles that expose a weakness in defenses like Manning does. Its more of a Peyton Manning thing when it comes to changing up pass protection, that's why it doesn't faze him like i said and it actually makes him better IMO. Does your defense show their blitzes a lot or do they disguise it well? Or is it more pressure from the D-line with the DE's?

not offended at all haha and I would not sleep on steve smith, he is a pretty good slot receiver just like he was on the giants. He is def not amendola at all, but I think jackson and richardson will make you guys have to watch the run game enough we may make a few big plays. I will say out of what the rams have at WR it is def speed. I feel like the raiders when it comes to speed because it seems all our receivers are faster than light but just are not big enough to fight for the ball (size wise they are but just have not seen much of it)

That comes with being coached by Fisher. The Titans were the same way under him. Hes a perfect match with Cheapshot Finnegan. Sorry, I hate your coach and was thrilled when he went to St Louis and not Miami.

That said, its been a long time since the Rams did anything meaningful and I know the last 5 years ya'll have the worst record (win % wise) over any 5 year stretch for any NFL team. So its good that Rams fans get to pull their head out of the sand.

The pressure comes more from our line and when we do blitz it is usually a delayed CB blitz as the DBs wait for the lineman to match up with the Lineman then they sneak in.

Isn't a trap game a situation where you have a weak team and then a tough team?

Where the weak team is the trap.

Isn't it impossible to have a trap game where the week after is a bye.

I know, I don't mean trap game in that way, I mean since its an NFC team who is on similar footing right now. I know a true trap game would be like the Browns or Jaguars before a bigger game. But I just meant as an NFC team coming in before the bye & then division rival, not looking at the record. Don't worry, I wouldn't be surprised if the Rams won.

I watched that Rams vs Cardinals game last week. I was surprised how good the Rams defense got. Tha Rams have Long and Quinn at ends and Quinn has become a very good pass rusher. I have to say though they abused the same tackles (Massie and the LT) all day just as Wake abused Massie 2 weeks ago. Brockers and Langford are good against the run and I kinda miss the dude.

Jenkins is a true shut down corner. Finnegan is solid and their safeties aren't too bad. The linebackers, Dunbar, Laurinaitis and Mcintosh work well as a team.

Amendola has very good hands and he has a good connection with Bradford...same with Kendricks. They'll lean on their running game.

It's going to be a tough even match up. The Rams aren't 3-2 for nothing. Fisher has them going and it will be interesting to see him vs Philbin....2 guys who were HC candidates for Miami.

I would also add that familiarity weighs heavily in my opinion. It used to be when the Cardinals were perennial losers. We would call it a trap game. Citing that even though they were perceived to be an easy win, they still had a punchers chance due to our unfamiliarity with playing them.

On a side note, you could guage the rise and fall of the Miami Dolphin organization strictly by charting our games with the Cardinals since they moved to Arizona...I could write a thesis paper on the correlation between the Cardinals being the gatekeeper of the NFL underworld based on our past success or lack thereof.

Receivers don;t seem to stick with your team. A few years ago I liked McDonald, but you let him go to the Lions. I liked avery, when Holt was mentoring him, but he left oo. THe guy I had high hopes for most recently was Danario Alexander. I think he could have been for you what Demaryius Thomas is becoming for the Broncos. Too bad Danario's knees didn't hold up.

But yeah, right now I only know Amendola, and that's because of Cowboys Hard Knocks.

I didn't know Amendola was out 6 weeks. They have Gibson, Smith , Pettis, Quick and Givens so I wouldn't sleep on them. At least Sean Smith can shut one of those down.

The Rams LG, Quinn Ojinnaka, is the worst pass blocking G in the league. It will be interesting seeing one of the best pass rushing DTs in Randy Starks going against him.

I watched the Rams v Cardinals game and the one thought I had was that Quinn's reaction time to the snap was terrible but his first 2 steps were amazing. Maybe it was an off night (I'll probably watch a few more Rams games on Gamepass now) but if he can decrease his reaction time he will be incredible. Even then I think he still had 3 sacks in the game.

Jake has problems with speed rushers but even then I normally don't worry about pressure from the RDE. Jake will definitely need to up his game this week.

This will probably be a low scoring game, I'm just hoping the heat has some effect. :)
