I don't like reading about his knee injury when he was 16.

Looks like it may not be a problem now. Besides he will fix his own knee and get back on the field. LOL

If the kid can play 15 years in the NFL, invest his money correctly he should be able to enjoy retirement with a nice little broadcasting job if he wants it. Kick back and relax kid.

It was just a meniscus tear, not an ACL or something major.

    Live from the Internet.
I tore a meniscus sophomore year, and came back to play last game. It's not a big deal at all.

Now i know why he has poise in the pocket. If he has the stomach to attend surgeries and want to be a surgeon, he can stand in the pocket in the face of incoming rush and imminent hit.

Does he really think his hands will be good enough for surgery performing once he's done a 15 year career? Even a QB's hands get pretty messed up from breaks and jams etc.

He can operate on all the players he'll know.

What's amazing about this dude is how he takes a hit, and how he doesn't care about taking a hit...two year wide receiver at the highest level of college football will do that to you I suppose.

I wouldn't consider it a nick name, its been thrown out there before, but i think it fits on some occasions, the dude hangs in the pocket and has no fear.

A lot of positives there and he is a good athlete too. Maybe one day he will be considered the steal of this draft, like Marino was the year he was drafted. A good quarterback and a good coach both positives.

Tannehill is looking more like the answer for us for the next 15 years. Now Jeff put a couple WR's out there to compliments Hartline & Bess, a TE that can catch and gt Lamar Miller to run like we all think he can, and this team should be playoff bound in 2013 season & 14 more years if Philbin is as good as I suspect he is.
