So do I...but it won't be. There's no way this will be less than a 6 game series, and I think 7 is more likely.
its been a long time, you still live with the trapper in Wisconsin. can't remember the name of the site we used to go to, not FH, the other one.
yeah, it was the hearald. and as far as the state, i was close. hate to walk the distance between the two. probably have you confused with fencikfan on a bears board. she lives in Wisconsin.
You're welcome because for some strange reason I couldn't save that pic so I couldn't edit it either.
the picture came from a kodak program and i imagine you can't copy one of their pictures. if somebody sends me one i can't open it without opening my easy share program. when i try to get some of the pictures off a disk i get at walmart i get a message that the transfer didn't happen but it does. i think kodak just has copy rights on everything. THANKS ANYWAY!
No problem, now back to my Pistons. What the hell happened last night??My gawd Chauncey needs to freak out!!
I think it's time for a Rasheed Wallace guarantee, like in Game 2 of the Pistons/Pacers series a couple of years ago.
Wallace wasn't so hot on his Guaransheed's the last few times. I'd rather him come out get the team to play like they are capable of. I swear this is one of the most hot/cold teams I've ever seen.
Yeah, I agree. Sheed's been fairly composed in these playoffs. His self-destruction against the Cavs helped cost the Pistons that series. He needs to focus on keeping Garnett more or less under control, hitting shots and crashing the boards. This team doesn't need him to lead: Chauncey Billups is the team leader.
You know what really bites?? The Pistons and the Wings play at the same time tonight, that really irks me!
I'm really looking forward to tonights game. I think if Billups/Hamilton can both have big nights the Pistons could take Game 3. The main thing I'm worried about as a Pistons fan is Ray Allen exploading tonight. He finally came out of his slump in Game 2, and I don't want to see him have a great game tonight. If Allen and Pierce get going, this could be a long night. My prediction- Detriot- 101 Boston- 97 Close game untill the end when the Pistons pull away. I see Prince having a big game tonight for some reason.
My poor Pistons,I hate losing at home!!The only good thing was/is the Wings kicked booty and my Tigers showed Minny where the sun don't shine.
the pistons could have won that friggin game if they had of played the whole game like they did the 4th quarter. for 3 quarters they just played like it was a practice drill, in the 4th they got the ball moving.
I agree with you 100%. The only postive thing that came out of Game 3 was that Stucky looked awsome in the 4th.
Hello everyone, another Pistons fan here! Great game 4 last night...I like the way we came out of the game firing. The Celtics never fully found their game, and we kept up a lead on them. Awesome hustling defense we had going. I thought McDyess was the player of the game. Moment of the night was definitely Maxiell disrupting Garnett's easy dunk...just about knocked over my table when that happened! Turning out to be a great series thus far. Go Pistons!
Glad you came here bro! Nice to have you here. This series sure is turning out to be a good one. 2-2, back in Boston tonight. I think the Pistons should view this as a must win, becuase if they win tonight they will have a lot of leverage in this series, with an opprutunity to go back back to the Palace and get back to the Finals. Well, let's hope the Pistons play like they did in Game 4.
Well, I was upset just as you are about the poor effort in Game 3, but I was very impressed by Stuckey's play. He was the bright spot in the 4th quarter, and that's a good thing to have a rookie be able to play efficiently in the play-offs. Game 3 wasn't a complete disaster.
Just got my question answered by Chad Ford on ESPN's draft chat... Phil (Rochester, NY): The Detroit Free Press mentioned a rumor that the Pistons have promised DJ White the #29 spot. Any truth to that? And if not, what are the chances of CDR or Chase Budinger falling there? Chad Ford: (1:34 PM ET ) Bogus. Joe Dumars and I e-mailed about this. There's no truth to it. It's possible CDR is there, and the Bulls would have to seriously consider him. (I assume he meant "Pistons" where he said "Bulls".)
Thanks for sharing bro. Lol, that would be hilariously pathetic if the Bulls considered CDR at the top spot.
Oh well, it was a decent season. I think next season will be the last chance at another run before we need to start tearing down on a rebuild. I hope Joe has a plan of attack because we're becoming an ancient team very quickly. Maxiell and Stucky look like the only youth keepers at this point, so we need a youth infusion quickly.
The Pistons had it won too and then gave it away. What a long season just to lose when we could have won.The announcers had their noses so far up Bostons arse it was unreal,I wonder if the refs are still making calls to ensure their bets win?!! Maxi should have been in instead of Ratliff, that was a Flip mistake and it was huge down the stretch.
Well, that sucked. As you can see, the Detroit media is already looking to next season...not that I blame them. http://freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080531/COL22/805310407/1051/SPORTS03 http://freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080531/SPORTS03/805310355/1051/SPORTS03 http://freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080531/SPORTS03/80531008/1051/SPORTS03 The last link is, in my opinion, the most interesting. I think Flip Saunders has run his course in Detroit. And frankly, I think he knows it. I won't feel too upset over that. I think Saunders is a mediocre, at best, coach. Michael Curry will probably take the job; he's been an assistant and the team apparently looks at him as a coach-in-waiting. Salary-wise, the Pistons are in good shape. Wallace is in the last year of his contract, so they could use his contract as trade bait if they want to move him. I don't think they will; even with all his baggage, he's still one of the best defenders in the league. But if anyone from the core was to be traded, he would seem the most likely candidate. McDyess will be a free agent, and I tend to think he'll be gone. Not that he didn't play fairly well in the playoffs, but rather, I think they want to get more PT for Maxiell and Amir Johnson. (Saunders' insistence on playing Theo Ratliff and benching Johnson throughout the playoffs probably doesn't help his chances of returning.)
Well, that game was a dissapointment. Not to surprised though that its the Lakers/Celtics in the Finals though, just makes you think if the NBA is fixed.
