I guess I'll be realistic. The Patriots are much better equipped to win the division, so I'd rather see another loss hung on them.

But it doesn't really matter, the Patsies will win this game.

My hate for both teams is immense but in no way or fashion can or will I ever pull for the Jest to win. They are scum and they disgust me! I have grown to except the Patriots winning more often than not and I'm willing to cheer for them twice a year. This weekend will be one of those exceptions

Whenever two divisional rivals play each other, my rule of thumb is always the same. Root for the underdog.

That's what Tom Brady thought too when he told Seattle DB's to talk to him after they win.

The clock expiring in overtime, bringing an end, to a freakishly devastating war, of high ankle sprain attrition.

The Dolfan in me won't let me choose here. I guess if I had to make a choice, I'd rather the jests beat the pasties, but only because I see the jests as more the team we can best head to head... Does the term "kissing your sister" mean anything here though ?? Tough thing to do here in asking Dolfans to root for either of these teams...

As much as I dislike the Pats, I just can't bring myself to root for the Jets. I could only do that if there was an overriding and obvious advantage to the Dolphins, and even then a part of me would hate myself.

I'm rooting for a 3-3 tie. For the dirty Jets to put some hot sauce on Tom Brady on the first snap. For Ryan Mallet to look like the 2nd coming of John Beck, while the Jets set an NFL record for least amount of yardage in an OT tie.

Pats after a long overtime, in a game where both teams get beat up and exhausted to the point that they lose the following week.

I voted Jets, simply because - long term - the Pats are the greater threat to our division title run (presuming, of course, one even happens - if it doesn't, does it really matter?). If the Pats win, they will be 2-0 in the division too, further making it tougher for us to win the division.

It pains me to root for either team, obviously, but I will root for one if it benefits my team in any way.

Patriots. Jets already have 2 division wins, 1 against us. Plus, wild card is the most likely scenario, they could be with us there. Oh and I want the Jets to finish last. And we play the Jets next week, so what happens in that game will give us a clearer picture of what is needed. We'd still have two games against the Patriots as well.

I'd rather Pats win now at home, then if the Dolphins are in a tie or something for AFCE with Pats, would want Jets to win next meeting.

Pats are the biggest threat to win the division, so I'm saying the Jets. I dont really care either way, I wouldn't mind seeing some doubt creeping in the heads of the Pats.

My view is that the Patriots are the best team in the division. They are going to win the division, whether they win today against the Jets or not. I think they will get on a roll and end up with 10 or 11 victories during the regular season.

The Jets on the other hand are are more of a threat to the Dolphins as a wildcard playoff team. I don't think they can win the division but they can certainly finish with a better record than the Dolphins and therefore block any chance the Dolphins have of making the playoffs this season. Especially if they win today and beat the Dolphins next week.

I hate rooting for either of these teams, so I will just say that, I want the Jets to lose more than I want the Patriots to lose today.

Bills just lost. Now the fastest possible way to lead the division is for the Jets to win today and for us to murder the Jets next week. I just don't have confidence in the Pats losing next week. I don't know who they play next week or if they have a bye.

Well after that Bills defense choked AGAIN, Dolphins will be alone in 2nd place after today! Jets or Pats will be joining the Bills at 3-4...not bad for a bye week. Can't lose to the Jets though.

I am so glad the wanny days are long gone for us! I am just glad the Bills lost so we have a chance to lead the AFC East next week depending on how this Pats/Jest game ends. I would have hated to share 1st place with the Bills next week.

Yep. Say hello to 2nd place for the momment. I just hope we don't have to be in 2nd place til we beat the Pats. I can smell first place if the hated Jets beat the Pats. i feel like I need to take a shower after saying I want the Jets to win this game. But its the quickest path to 1st place IMO. Who do the Pats have next week?
