No, it was over scheduling issues. Still this guy for whom so many want to make insinuations about his sexuality, did get a few months of fun and merriment with her, which is far more than anyone of us here has got to have.
This is complaining about something for the sake of complaining. On the breast cancer awareness month topic, my wife actually commented on it last weekend and I thought it was a good idea. Having it go for the entire month seems silly. Before anyone goes crazy, this is what SHE said and I agreed. Have the first weekend of October be THE weekend. Go full on pink out. Have every team have pink trim, socks....hell, even have some teams wear pink jerseys or special helmets. Use the pink flags, have pink endzones, the whole nine yards. Then, end it. Keep the bow on the field and keep pushing awareness. The way they do it now seems kind of half assed. Some players wear no pink and as the month progresses less and less players wear it. If they centered it into one weekend I think the effort would be more concentrated and in the end, better.
I'm probably going to catch fire but I think using the pink flags is just silly. I couldn't possibly see the need for it. Oh that's right, because a fast-paced game like football and the audience are focused on the ref throwing a flag. Heart disease and diabetes are preventable too which is why I'm confused as to why those diseases aren't a main focal point...
