Assassin's Creed series

Its funny, no matter where I go for information about this game(especially lurking on the AC boards) people cant stop *****ing that we have yet to see Connor kill an American, despite Ubisoft repeating that Connor is taking no sides on the war(that he is only in it to kill Templars Doesnt it occur to them that showing something like that would constitute a major plot point and that Ubisoft simply does not want to spoil anything?

Not to mention that in Connor's perspective: He is the American and its just Red British vs Blue British.

 

Connor actually likes and believes in Washington and Franklin though, so it's a bit more complex than red Brits vs blue Brits.

Fun fact: Today is the day that the Continental Congress decided to delcare the colonies independant from England.
The Declaration was just signed 2 days later.

 

I really don't see the point of that trailer, other than "HEY GUYS INDEPENDENCE DAY ASSASSIN'S CREED 3 REVOLUTIONARY WAR *****ES".

 

Not so sure why game companies are so afraid of using game play in their ads and trailers. Especially a game like Assassins Creed. These trailers are cute and all, and some give you the warm fuzzy feeling but show me the ****ing game for ****'s sake.

That being said, the game play posted on the previous page of this thread has me excited for this game. Now just have to finish up Brotherhood and Revelations.

 

AC3's director is trying to show off as little of the game as possible, because he's "tired" of knowing everything about games before they get released. I'm with him on that one. Apparently there are still two or three big systems (big like the "you get a boat" reveal) that haven't leaked or been announced.

 

They probably wont show the Desmond portions of the game at all before release.

So there's this new site that ubisoft put out acting as a timeline of sorts.

Its pretty intresting and its a nice little way to sum up whats happened so far.

 

I wonder how many people are now going to go to these buildings and photograph themselves.

I have three days off to play this game. I am going to be drunk both on beer and creeds.

 

Oh I know I'm not getting **** done when this game comes in the mail.

 

First Game I will be waiting for at midnight, for a long night of no sleep and cold but completely worth it.

 

There's going to be an AC4. Probably in 2 years. Because holy ****.
