***Official Dolphins at Jets Gameday thread***

Jets really grabbing at straws for inspiration today. Former injured jets running them onto the field. Talking trash. Blaming Reggie.

I hope they fired us up enough for that not to matter. Gotta manage our emotions and leave this day with a victory.

2 weeks to prepare. They are injured. We need this !!!!

 

My biggest worry is that we come out flat after the bye week. Regardless of of all the positive media pub and all the hype we are still a 3-3 football team. We are what our record says.
The Jets get up on us early we may not be able to recover.
None of the good things that are being said help us at all on the football field. I think the fanbase has bought into that hype way too much this week.
Expect a complete disaster if we lose. People have set their expectations way to high with all the positive talk about this team.
I prefer to be off the radar. Who cares about being praised. I prefer the negative stuff. Makes you a better team.

 

My dream scenario to start the game...3 wide w/Bess, Hartline, & Moore...Playaction to Bush to suck up the over-aggressive Landry and pop a deep ball to Moore over the top...TD on first play.

Who's down with that?

 

I like how Pouncey has stepped up vocally, I like how the dynamics of the team seem to be about protecting each other, I like the direction, other people have acknowledged those specifics, saying things like "this team is being built the right way"...I don't think we've overhyped them, they have responded to all the crap in a pretty good way..they deserve a bit of praise up until this point..

 

Sherman knows that they know we think their going to over pursue...it should be interesting as to how he calls the first quarter.

 

Talk is cheap Deej. We have to go out and prove it on the football field.

 

The talk the Dolphins are doing actually reflects something going on within the team that contributes to winning, whereas the talk the Jets are doing is worthless and actually causes losing more than anything else.

 

I hope Reggie Bush gashes the Jets.

So sick of seeing the video of Tony Sparano beating on his chest after the Jets OT win in week 3. Hopefully they score a FG today so he can give himself a heart attack celebrating.

 

I wonder if the approaching storm could have the local Jets players a little preoccupied.

 

I hope we kill these losers today. I want to win by 3 or 4 scores. Embarrass them.
