Rule 1: Don't whine about the FA signees ad nauseum. We're building through the draft.

Rule 2: Ignore all posts by phinsational.

There's my confusion then. When was he cut? I never saw anything, but info on practice squad guys is hard to find.

I wonder if this is freeing up room for Bowe???

According to the team page on nfl.com he was cut when Dominique Jones was signed.

I'm skeptical about Egnew. But, I would seek a TE in next year's draft. I really love this kid Fauria from UCLA. Big, tall (6'7+), good hands. His speed is a question-mark at this stage (4.76-4.82). But, if he can drop it down to 4.7 (Gronk ran a 4.68) then he's got some big potential.

But, I love the draft opportunities next year (with two seconds and two thirds). I would be very tempted to go round 1: WR; then one of the round 2 picks: TE. Of course if there is a WR in FA that could help also. Bowe will likely be very costly and is questionable. Jennings will have to have surgery and is over 30.

I might go two WRs in the draft and a TE (with WR / TE early and another WR say with one of the 3rd round selections). Then go D ...

There is definitely some potential here ... they have to get fortunate; keep the nucleus and hit on a couple of big players.

You perform or you are gone, AA could not get on the field and thusly when Gaffney was 100% out he went.

    Wish him well though

    Last week.

Thanks, MrClean - I'll have to check NFL.com from now on. So, with that, the practice squad stands at:

    WR - Fuller & Tyms
    TE - Jones
    T - McDonald
    G- Burden
    DT - Alecxih
    CB - Posey
    S - Russell
