So much for him wanting to wait it out for a max deal, which he was likely not going to get. That price sounds about right. He's a solid offensive player with the opportunity to take it to the next level this year as the primary perimeter player, and a borderline elite defender at only 22 years old. So still lots of potential there. Who knows whether or not he'll reach it, but at the least he'll always be a terrific defender. Slightly less than what Curry and Lawson got today.
Lillard, Matthews, Batum, and Pavlocic. Man the Lakers sure do make perimeter players look all world. Not like we said that was going to happen or anything. Steve Nash looking useless next to Kobe. Nobody here called that one. Lakers bench being an abortion. Nobody noticed that either. Dwight hitting free throw after free throw, still getting blown out by the Blazers. SMH. And one of the grandpa's on the roster is already injured.
One will miss the postseason over free tattoos, one will miss because they are a joke. I'll let you pin the tail on the donkey.
Guys..give the Lakers a break.... That Portland team almost threatened the 9th seed last year, and with a little luck, can be a strong contender for the worst lottery pick this year. That's a tough opponent. Jordan/Pippen....Wade/Bron...Collison/Mayo....Lillard/Batum.... It's gonna take combinations such as those to beat the Lakers. I think the NBA rigged the schedule to give the Lakers the two toughest perimeter combos in the league, back to back.
On a serious note..I really like Philly. The contrast between Hawes and Bynum is gonna be great, and force teams to adjust. I like Wright as a contributor (always have). It is up to Turner to take the next step for them to break into the top half of playoff seeds.
sec...bro the city is in love with lillard. he reminds me A LOT of broy just a pg..also if batum can play anywhere near that he'll be worth the big contract he got
Blazers have a ton of young talent. Just not ready, yet. Challenge for the 8th seed..win about 38 games. fair?
Chicago looked decent without D rose... Noah was a monster on both sides in the paint. Sent from my XT875 using Tapatalk 2
Hawes with his awesome mullet played like a man possessed last night. White Howard. He played pretty good last year until the back and achilles injuries so we'll see. Also J-Rich with 4 steals and 3 blocks after looking really good defensively in the preseason. This is why I never understood why some people thought losing Iguodala would all of a sudden make the Sixers defense crumble. Players don't make great defenses, coaches do. The system is always more important than the players. And players who weren't known for defense like J-Rich all of a sudden don't look so bad because of a terrific system. Same thing with Iggy. He's still a great defender, but he won't be the same in an inferior system. I'd be surprised if Michael Curry isn't a strong candidate for head coaching jobs after the season. Hell I thought he got the shaft in Detroit getting fired after one year, in which the FO made dumb decisions like trading for AI.
well, idk. maybe with no major injuries. last nights game isn't something that will be a norm imo. they always get up to play the lakers at home.....I want one more high lottery pick before making the playoffs next year.
If Hawes can play anywhere near what he did last night when Bynum comes back, it will only get better. There are many versatile players on this team, and Holiday is on pace to being one of the better PG in the league.
2 Problems for LA right now 1) They are older than the dirt they walk on 2) No defense, at all. the NYK think they have a ****ty D.
This is as good a commercial as I have ever seen.
Why couldn't Lebron just have come with Dru Joyce III and Romeo Travis to college for just a single season? Also, I like the Uncle Drew and Wes commercial more than this one.
What I liked about this commercial is that it was completely real. That is his house. (I have seen it) His kids, his fiance. That is the barbershop he goes to. That was actually him coming into a game in the tunnel entrance to the AAA. Those were his cars, and that is the plate on his Ferrari. That was a Heat trainer. He had Mav and his boys with him. RIO and UD are behind him in the tunnel. But yes..I love the Uncle Drew commercial.
For those who haven't seen it:
Not quite. LeBron uses an iPhone. This commercial was sort of like the time Jessica Alba appeared on stage with Steve Ballmer to hock Windows Phone 8, except she uses an iPhone too. That said, it's still a good commercial for LeBron-related content.
I wonder if he switched, since this has to be a very lucrative endorsement.. BTW, I love the Galaxy phones.
I think he can handle having an Iphone, a Galaxy, and a few samsungs. So many directions he can take when giving out his number/s. I really dig the Galaxy phones. I do like my Iphone but just saying.
It would be pretty funny if Miami wins the ACC Championship and ends up in a BCS bowl while Ohio State is sitting at home wasting one of the few good years they'll get before Urban skips town for "medical reasons".
Urban is finally home... And I can tell you Buckeye fans couldn't care less about what the "U" does or does not do. When your a national powerhouse the Johnny come lately's matter not.
