Just saw this news on NFL Network. I think Jim Irsay tweeted that Chuck Pagano might attend the game.
If this happens, can we over come the Colts emotional boost?

it's hard not to be happy for the guy. I personally would love to see him be able to make the trip to the game. Sure it'll be harder for us to win, but life is about more than a football game

I hope he makes the trip but it could also make them lose focus or overthink things. You never really know.

dennis byrd also attended the jets game and they did a halftime honor for him...didn't help, we were also sloppy when jason taylor and zach thomas were introduced and got their names retired....so it seems overrated

Don't see it as the same thing at all. Pagano is their COACH. While nobody on the jets played with Byrd, and Zach means little to the guys playing on the dolphins.. and JT ?? he's a joker,, and nobody on the team was with him during his best days when he was actually worth something

    It's the classic Moses move...

y'know, the old Moses story where his people are warring below him...

Moses raises his staff and all of a sudden his people start kicking ***...

Mark my words, when Pagano stands up, it'll have the same effect...

We tried irradiating Ireland, but he just went out and had the best draft of his life...

Panda, you need some new pics, or a new movie or something. I've seen you use that Total Recall thing before.

I hope Pagano makes the game. I agree with pennphinfan. The game of life is much bigger than the game of football. I wish him a speedy recovery.

I just the hope the beat down he witnesses doesn't hinder his recovery.

I'll be at the game. Maybe the Dolphins will win this one for me.

I am happy for Pagano but I think the Colts will be on emotional steroids and the Dolphins should be allowed to take something to compensate for it. lol

If we are going to become a good upper tier team we have to be able to win those types of games. Thinking that this could give the Colts an emotional lift should be enough to inspire our team to meet the challenge. If Pagano shows up we should have a tough game, and if he doesn't show up an emotional edge. I just hope Tannehill can play and beats his class's number one draft pick and convinces a few more that he was the steal of this draft. And if Tannehill doesn't play, Moore make us all proud and bring this one home!

Something interesting about Chuck, though I can't give a whole lot of info, he got the NFL network for our whole hospital.

Our defense will take the emotional boost away.

Doubt it. The certainly NFL has a way of seeing to it that the "emotional" team pulls it out in the end.

Get used to him. He's Steven Ross' assistant and he'll be chiming in from time to time...

right, Pagano will be seated next to a giant tit shrine bedazzled with pink ribbons...You just know when it comes to crunch time, somebody will shoot low energy microwaves at our players and project Rocky and Bullwinkle clips in their mind to up the level of difficulty.

Hey Rocky, watch Tannehill pull a touchdown out of his ***...

I don't mind, but now everyone seemingly has a crush on 18 yr old blondes...You, my brother, this entire board...

When the winning streak ends, I upgrade to something less innocent.

Don't listen to him. If you do, you might stop starting the game threads. We can't have you changing a thing. We are 3-0 with your game threads. Keep them coming. They are more powerful than a Chuck Pagano appearance!

Unless his cancer is contagious, I don't see how he affects the game.

We spend all this effort discussing being "up" for a game, but how many times have we also heard and seen teams take the wind out of the sales of the opponent? To me, that shows the whole "win for the Gipper" stuff is overrated.
