They turned the ball over 6 times yesterday to the Bears! We should easily win the turnover battle (provided Smith holds onto the ball this time!) Contain Chris Johnson and force Hasselback to beat you. I think we bounce back and make a statement. 34-13 Miami.
we are nowhere near as dominating as the bears on D, they made it look easy, we will probably be in another dogfight in a tight game, also Jake Locker might be back
If Hasselbeck plays... I'm not too worried. If Locker plays, I'm a bit more worried, but still nothing too crazy. What really worries me about the Titans, is they've got three good receives in Britt, Washington and Kendall Wright. After watching our secondary getting torched by Hilton and Wayne, and Luck... With those three WR's lining up next week it makes me worry about the Titans. Surely we can't be that miserable on defense again can we? I'd hope not...
I am really thinking the dome and the lighting affected Smith more than anything. I'm surprised more people aren't catching on to that.
The Titans do not have an super-accurate Andrew Luck to throw to those receivers. And you would think our DL will get back to getting at the QB. Not that our DBs don't have anything to worry about, but we should be able to pull this one out.
That's an interesting theory, one I haven't heard proposed yet. Care to elaborate on how you have come to this conclusion?
Well, he's not used to playing in a dome and there were 3 separate plays when it looked to me like he lost the ball, like a baseball outfielder. You could tell he didn't see it, and I never really saw him do that before.
Just curious why many posters think what happened last week to a team will happen again? We are a different defense than the Bears. They have a knack for causing turnovers. The Titans were just embarrassed and their owner is pissed. I think we are catching them at a bad time (just like the Colts with the Chuck Strong emotions). That said, I think we come out ready to play. Go Fins!!
The Titans all scared and playing for their jobs. http://m.nfl.com/news/0ap1000000090832/titans-assistant-says-owners-warning-has-everyone-scared/
