http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thed...be-ryan-tannehills-most-impressive-attribute/ I thought that was an interesting statistic. Plus there are other good points in the article. Tannehills decision making has been really good. He has thrown 98 passes without an interception on 108 dropbacks. Which is impressive when you consider in his first 4 games he threw 6 interceptions.
Lets me honest with ourselves here. The stat takes in the past 7 years. We haven't been doing an awful lot of winning over that time frame.
In 2007 we didnt win squat. In 2008 we followed the jets with arizona who went to the super bowl that year and then the baltimore playoff game.In 2009 we followed the jets with the saints who were undefeated at the time and would win the super bowl that year.In 2010 we followed the jets with the patriots who finished the year 14-2.In 2011 we followed the jets with that damn tebow gator day game and then the jets were the lasr game of the year.Maybe if we didnt follow jets games with so many super bowl teams we could have won once or twice... if we ever played oakland, cinci, kc, or the rams following the jets this wouldnt be a stat.
Really off the wall interesting stat... For the record since the that win in 2005 against the Jets the teams, Regular Season record has been 44-61, that is 4 wins every 10 games... So the stat does not seem far fetched...
Wegetso emotionally up for Jets week there has to be some drop in intensity, and comfortable satisfaction in 'mission accomplished' when we beat them. So we let up a bit on the gas after and pay the price.
