Yep, on that deep reception when the Wr turned in, he turned out, I've literally never seen that happen before. 2 dropped int's, just flat out garbage and he admitted as much via Twitter.
Pads , that is a season retrospective , my comment was for today's game specifically. It was , we were , simply putrid. To lose as we did is almost , if not truly inexcusable to me. We had a chance to build some hope , momentum , and we basically failed in all and every of the game imo . From coaching to even Fields ( who has been GREAT ) we didn't measure up and never really competed from the failure to convert on the first drive to the end of the game. A win Thursday would be great , but in no way , for me does it wash away how non competitive were were today and how poorly we produced. We had a chance to stop the treadmill of one step forward , one sideways , one back , and yet again we did not . Not only didn't we halt the spinning we spun with almost ho heart and effort imo. Terrible game , nothing can change that imo.
Absolutely, we screwed the pooch completely in my Trends thread in club I pointed out that EVERYONE basically sucked. Even Kraken was missing on sacks, I wonder if the game planning was not there with the Thursday game?
wouldnt say he was horrible (last week… he was) but I am just tired of seeing drop INTs. I think he has dropped 5 possible INTs over the past two games.
He had 8 Catches for 107 yards in a rainstorm, and did half of that with Jason Campbell as his QB. and yes..in case you haven't noticed, he is the Leagues BEST RECEIVER this year...so I guess, he does "rule". But what can he do that Brian Hartline can't?
the tell tale chart says 2 for 28. I mean, the guy we played against completed 9 passes for christ's sake.
Yes. He looked terrible tonight. In a rainstorm. Versus one of the best defenses in the league. With a concussion. How did he look the rest of the season? and again, the only blowing up that Marshall seems to be doing is on every defense he faces.
Yeah that drop in the EZ in a 13-6 loss is something we have never seen before with him... Dude had 13 targets, #2 receiver Forte had 3-4 targets.
You missed a big one... get ready... and... We STILL control our OWN DESTINY!! That's right... If we win out, we win the AFC East. We'll have beaten the Pats twice and even though potentially could be tied (if they win every game but the two against us) we'd have the head to head tiebreaker. And no I haven't been drinking nor have I taken any illegal drugs. I did go into convulsions when Steve Tasker said during today's broadcast... paraphrasing... it's pretty obvious what the Dolphins lack... a #1 dominant receiver that you can go to in the clutch... I don't want to turn this into a hate Ireland thread, but that's the #1 argument against him staying. He traded our best offensive weapon AND failed to replace him.
2nd week in a row we got outcoached....2nd week in a row they showed up flat.....2nd week in a row Sherman's play calling looked ****ty
Two positives: 1. It was absolutely perfect South Florida weather at the stadium. Just fantastic. 2. We can stop the charade that the Dolphins are some kind of playoff or even particularly good team. In retropect, I'm kind of embaressed how easily seduced I was by a 4-3 record, so desparate for this team to be good again. 7-9 is in the cards...again
Sean Smith is terrible. He plays 15 yards off the receiver almost every play, he cannot tackle, he cannot play the ball in the air, and when the ball hits him in the face/hands/chest, he cannot catch it. Only positive that I can find from this game is Wake. Tannehill looked dazed and confused for the first time. I knew Sherman's play calling was going to be crap all day when we ran Lane on 3rd and 1 on the first drive of the game. Offense has been consistently bad the whole season besides the Arizona game. Offense is the problem here, 3 turnovers. Tannehill is too raw to be able to take over and sling it around the yard, that is clear after this game. Over or under on 50 points scored on us vs. the Patriots?
Wow, you guys just continue to murder that poor dead horse. LET IT GO!!! ****ing live in the now, get out of the past. Your obsession is unhealthy. Jesus Christ!
No, but dwelling obsessively on something that happened in the past is. Nothing is going to change it, so why continue to bring it up? We get it. He is good, he sure as **** wasn't good here. Ok, great, but he is gone. That's it. Story over.
Criticizing Culter? Really? Dude's been fantastic for what they need him for. Yesterday was a frickin rain storm. If you made a cut there was a divot where your cleat was. Terrible conditions.
