San Francisco is one of the best cities in America. If you are going to be there for the game, just skip it and enjoy the whole day in the city or drive down to Carmel. I am sure you will get someone to buy the tickets from you. Just don't expect to get anywhere close to the $675 you have already spent.

I am convinced you enjoy the Dolphins losing because your post count increases greatly when the Dolphins are not doing well. It is like you are a kid in the candy store.

SF is IMO that spot right next to your a-hole that gets poo on it when you take a dump. I have lived in the SF Bay area for most of my last 32 years (even went to school there a few years). I will go watch the game at the stick and beat feet out of town.

if you think that is what he is saying you a) didn't read the post he made and/or b) don't know much about Monst. He has been one of the most vocal proponents of replacing Ireland for the better part of 2 seasons now. Where in his post does he even intimate that beating the Jags is enough for Ireland to keep his job? You seem to have some very distorted ideas about the people you interact with here. I pressed you on this yesterday and you neglected to respond so I'll ask you again. Where are you getting this notion that ANY Dolfan is happy with being mediocre. Again, I guarantee you there's not a single Dolfan out there saying I hope we go 8-8 before the year starts. Simply because someone does not agree with you doesn't mean they root for this team to lose. I just don't understand how you're rationalizing that point to yourself.

I don't really think so, especially when you consider we were facing a team that we're competing against for that playoff spot that week. Either way, its going to be a discussion that is going to be around for the most of the season, for better or worse.

I hate seeing the Dolphins lose. In fact a few weeks ago I wrote on here that I thought the Dolphins would make the playoffs if they beat the Colts. I have also attended every home game this year, except yesterday, because I had knee surgery on Wednesday of last week. I did purchase tickets to the game and I gave them away to fans who actually attended the game yesterday

I was a season ticket holder for thirty five years. I also traveled to nearly 30 away games to watch the Dolphins play. This included the game they played in London in 2007. I want nothing more than to see this team be a success on the field. I just don't think they will be a success as long as Ireland is the person responsible for selecting this teams talent.

My problem isn't with the coaches, or even many of the players. My problem is with Ireland.

You can be as convinced as you want to be about my wanting the Dolphins to lose. I just know that you are 100% wrong. Right now I am writing more because I can't go out and play golf or do the other things I generally do because of my recent surgery. I assure you, I won't be on the forum as much once I am fully recovered, win or lose.

You obviously have plenty of free time to sit around and write comments all day, based on the over 16,000 posts since 2007. I don't have that amount of free time. So I tend to write more when I feel like it or I have the time. I just don't have the time or the inclination to write multiple posts on a daily basis, as you seem to want to do.

There are many fans on this forum who constantly try to justify keeping Ireland because they say he is only responsible for the players he has signed or drafted since Parcells left the organization. I don't believe this and except for 2008, this team has been mediocre every other year since Ireland took over as this teams GM. I just don't understand why any of these individuals would want the Dolphins to keep Ireland, when he has yet to prove after almost five years that he isn't capable of building anything but a mediocre football team.

I don't think fans want the team to lose. I just think too many fans are willing to keep giving Ireland another chance and they just fail to recognize that he isn't a good NFL GM. You certainly can disagree with me. But that is the way I feel and I have seen any arguments on this forum or anywhere else which can change my mind regarding Ireland.

All I see if Ireland is retained is this team remaining mediocre. Therefore my view is that anyone who wants Ireland to remain the teams GM, must be satisfied with the Dolphins continuing to be mediocre as long as he is this teams GM. Agree or disagree with me. I really don't care. That is just the way I see things.

Whatever your feelings on Ireland, it's disrespectful and ignorant to accuse others of wanting this team to lose simply because they disagree with you.

Your buddy Dol-Fan Dupree accused me of the exact same thing because of my comments regarding Ireland. He seems to think I enjoy seeing the Dolphins lose. I guess that is okay with you though, because he gave you a fist-pump for your comments. It seems a little hypocritical to me .

One last time. I never use the ignore function. I just accept that you and I aren't going to be able to come to an understanding at this time. In that case, perhaps we should just agree to disagree and instead of continuing to accuse one another of wanting the team to lose or some other false accusations, we should just avoid commenting to one another for the time being. Hopefully in the future, we will be able to agree on the direction we see the Dolphins heading.

I will certainly admit that I am totally frustrated with their direction right now and this obviously prevents you and me from having a rational discussion concerning the team right now. I will accept that I might hold most of the responsibility for this. For that I apologize, but it is the way I feel right now and the way I have felt for the past few years.

Maybe one day we will see thinks in a more positive light. I certainly hope so.

How about we both don't accuse people who disagree with either of us that we are secretly Jet fans or like medocrity.

I do not think that Jeff Ireland should be fire. I love the Dolphins. I do not accept medocrity.

As you, I do not appreciate being accused of either.

With all due respect here, expecting seven losses in a row here is unrealistic. Just like expecting seven wins in a row after the Raiders game, or second Jets game is unrealistic. Yesterday wasn't the norm for this team. Yes, they lost two in a row, but last week, they were in it till the end, despite their flaws. The problem w/ our expectations is we let them get too high two weeks ago, and now - after two losses in a row, including yesterday's debacle - that old feeling of hopelessness from the past few years is setting in. But it's not reality this year - at least I really don't think so.

I think on the high end, we can shoot for 8-8 this year, and if you think about our mindset at the beginning of the year, who wouldn't sign up for that as a positive. On the low-end, I want to see 7-9. I look at it this way, using the entire season so far as my basis:

    Possible wins:
    -Buffalo (2)
    -Jax
    -Seattle

    Possible losses:
    -New England (2)
    -San Fran

Now, if we can win three of those "possible wins" and steal one of the "possible losses," that puts us at 8-8, and we can celebrate. We're not what we saw yesterday. Thursday will be tough in Buffalo, but the Bills are really nothing special either, and have shown a propensity to blow it lately. Obviously, Seattle is no picnic, but we do get the West Coast team coming east for a 1 p.m. start thing, which puts the game in our favor. If we lose to Jax, we're doing it wrong.

New England is obviously tough, and when you consider our pass defense the past couple weeks, the thought of Tom Brady against us is scary. However, if the pass rush gets it going again, we might be able to at least keep Brady under 30, and we may be able to put up points on their defense. It's unlikely, but not out of the question that we can steal one. San Fran is a good team, but as we've seen this year (against Minnesota, and the Rams, yesterday), this isn't the 2011 'Niners. If we bring our A-game, the game should hang in the balance in the fourth quarter.

Do not get discouraged from yesterday. The entire team and coaching staff wants to put on a better effort, and - luckily - they get to early this week on Thursday. I expect an entirely different result, and if we happen to win big or relatively big ..... let's just not get too carried away by it and realize this season is more about Tannehill growing, and Philbin instilling his culture - both things that SHOULD pay off big time in the coming years.

It's year one under Philbin and having Tannie as the QB. Sure, we got destroyed. Fine. NOBODY had expectations for this year. It is ONE game. Figure out what went wrong, address it and move on. We have holes, it's not a surprise. We are 4-5, big deal. Nobody died, get **** right and let's move on.

Sure, Dupree shouldn't accuse you of wanting the team to lose. But that's between you and him. The difference is that Dupree is leveling his accusation at you making it personal. You're leveling your accusation at "many Dolphin fans" making it a far sweeping accusation. That also leaves the door open for many people to take offense. Now you've resorted to talking about how rich you are and how you don't care about the people on this forum. And that to me just reeks of you thinking you're better than the rest of us who haven't been "season ticket holders for 35 years." The point is, in dealing with others what your opinion is you're trying to express is far less important than how you express it. And I'm just trying to tell you how I perceive you're coming off and how it's insulting and ineffective.

I very seriously doubt it. In a league with more parity than I've ever seen in 27 years, we have a chance to beat almost any team in the league, just like we can lose to a team like TN

That's NO EXCUSE, these are supposed to be professionals. It's their job to play hard NO MATTER WHAT.

I can show you rugby matches where teams are down by 30 with less than 5 minutes to go and they are going as hard as in the beginning of the game.

Great now the "I told you so" crowd is going to be showing up the rest of the year.

I expected between 6-8 wins so personally I am not disappointed. Tannehill has shown flashes and I feel there are some pieces to work with for the future.

Almost sure to get our 4th straight losing season, tying the franchise "record" during the expansion 1966-1969. Not sure I trust Ireland to draft the talent to fix it in 2013, and I'm not so sure any free agents will magically want to start to play for the Dolphins, before we get our eyes on which Free Agent CB's or WR's will be available. Hopefully Tannehill takes a big leap to make up for it.

We'll see what he does to bounce back from two poor games this season. Too bad there isn't much talent there.

    Honest question.
Do you truly believe we're on the right track, with the right man running things?
Or will you simply not allow yourself to believe that we, yet again, need to blow things up?

Yup I don't think any of us expected a great season but now that the win loss record has hit us in the behind it's hard to swallow with being teased of playoffs so recently. I say let Tannehill finish the season throwing more don't ease up so much with a running game let him get some experience.

After watching this offence score a combined 10 pts against the two worst defences in the nfl do you still think 7 losses in a row is unrealistic?offensive line is offensive,no running game, worst wrs in the nfl, rookie qb is regressing, and the defence is start to show cracks even though they did play better last night. No way in hell this team finishes 8-8 or 7-9 with this schedule coming up.I don't think they will even beat the jags the way they are playing.
