http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...uck-russell-wilson-shine?campaign=Twitter_atl I agree, Tannehills play wasn't the major factor, it was the rest of the team.. "Based on the final score, I was expecting a lot worse from Tannehill in a 37-3 loss to the Tennessee Titans. This is why it's so good to watch Game Rewind. Tannehill literally didn't have a bad play on Miami's first three drives while the Dolphins fell behind 14-0." Lets get a win here, and we can start to heal from a loss like that..
dj, the defense was pathetic ... really for 2 straight weeks it has been awful - even though we had a chance against IND. We have played poorly against 2 QBs that have 'legs' ... that can get out of the pocket and extend plays. Would have to think we'll see something similar tonight ...
Tannehill threw three INTs. Reggie Bush fumbled in our own territory. That doesn't exactly put the defense in position to win. Come on. This is insane.
Tanny played poorly. We don't have to pretend like he did not. Tanny is a rookie. He's gonna have days when he throws a lot of picks. Hopefully, he and the entire team rebounds tonight.
I completely agree with him not making any mistakes early on. 2 of the interceptions he had were not really his fault in my opinion. If the ball was tipped on the fasano interception, fasano needed to fight harder...otherwise it should have been PI. The tone of the day was set on that 3rd and 1 on our first drive when we handed the ball to lane and got stuffed. At that very moment I thought, "Uh oh, here we go". Defense was put into some bad situations because of the turnovers. That still doesn't detract from the fact that we have no pass rusher outside of Wake. Dansby and Sean Smith are supposed to be playmakers and both are not. Sean Smith is downright terrible guys...can't catch, can't tackle, can't play the ball in the air, and 10 yard cushions each play. I am tired of Sean Smith more than anybody else.
Its just one of those games. Its one of those games where sometimes really good teams lose out to really bad teams and mediocre teams get destroyed by other mediocre teams. I don't think it means much in the big scheme of things. Happens to all teams and seems to be a football rule. Sometimes, everything just goes to **** and you have to get back up and play well next week.
3rd downs are killing this team, both on offense and defense. The short running game appears almost non-existent right now. After Lane got stopped on a 3rd and 1 on the first drive, then Reggie fumbling on a 3rd and 13, Sherman called a pass on 3rd and 1 and of course it was picked. Ideally, you shouldn't have to put your rookie QB in a position to throw on 3rd and 1. Should be a gimme 1st down on the ground. Weak sauce.
Uh oh...if Tannehill didn't have a bad game against the Titans it is really going to suck when he does have bad games.
The Defense allowed two scores before Tannehill threw his first pick. They ****ed up just as bad as Tannehill and have played bad the past 2 weeks.
We were down 14-0 before people could even sit in there seats. It's rare for any team to come back from that (especially with a rookie qb..it's unheard of).............unless of course they are playing against Miami ;p
