Psha, I love that the excuses are still coming for Henne.

With the right person in charge. Right now we have someone who has been here 5 years and many of the same problems still exist. This is why if that person is left in charge, it would take longer if never changing under his watch.

Henne could have been a serviceable QB had he been given the proper offensive talent. I will always believe that.

The two integral parts to winning in today's NFL are the QB and head coach. If you believe the QB and HC Jeff Ireland just brought aboard were hits, you keep him. If they are misses, he should be fired.

I didn't say you would win anything with Henne. I said he could have been a serviceable QB.

While I agree with the sentiment, however Tannehill could still prove to be worth keeping with both Head coach and general manager fired.

They carried him to a combined QB rating of 104.82 in those two postseasons?

QB is the most important, and hardest to find position in the league. If you're a GM and you draft a franchise QB, you should not be fired one year after drafting that franchise QB.

They carried him with good pass rushers that stopped the Patriot scoring machine from scoring tons of points, twice.

while that is maybe true, it doesn't mean you give up on the quarterback if you fire the GM.

I'd hardly call that carrying him. He averaged a 95 QB rating in those two games. Yes, the Giants defense was solid in both, but to say they carried him when he was awesome in those two postseasons is hyperbole.

Where do we go ? If we bench other people for screwing up why not bench Tannehill a game. Let Moore play against Seattle because if Tannehill is back there its going to be like deer in the headlights for the kid. At least Moore makes things happen.

Not going to be any different. Seattle is going to stack the box with 8 guys and dare Tannehill to throw. Problem there is Seattle has two pro bowl Defensive backs tha can cover what we have at WR as easy as cake.

Too late to start him now. The season's over. You might as well keep Tannehill in there and see what he's made of.

You can have a good QB rating with having a minimalistic effect on the game. His first superbowl was mostly running game and defense. He did have one offense game where he had a great game, however the other three including the superbowl were mostly on the defense.

If he wasn't throwing so many interceptions he wouldn't have to.

Actually, we had 3 Pro Bowl DB's last season (Browner, Earl Thomas, and Kam Chancellor) and arguably our best corner, Richard Sherman didn't make it. Sherman will be going to the Pro Bowl this year though, I'm sure.

I'm going to have to disagree. Earl Thomas isn't seen much on highlight reels because he very much discourages plays anywhere near his range. And he has an enormous range due to boatloads of speed. I love me some Kam Chancellor for all the wood he lays, but if we could only keep one of those guys most Seahawks fans would probably agree that letting Kam walk would be the better bet. Earl is a rare rare talent.

    Here and there
    All good points but,

Henne was also considered more NFL ready, he was a four year starter in college, he sat a year under Chad P and got to learn, and still the only reason he got the start was due to injury, which is an arguement that can be made for Tannehill starting as well.

Look we all knew Tannehill was a project coming into this season, we chose to over look that because of some early season success. Now he's a complete failure?(not that you're saying that Adam) Can we give the ROOKIE some time please, And regardless of what is said about the team Henne inherited it was still a team that understood winning and had success, regardless of the weak schedule exuses that keep coming up.

I was a huge Henne supporter, he came out of my favorite school, and I thought going to Jacksonville under MM he would have surplanted Gabbert, i was wrong. But the compairison to Henne and Tannehill are apples and oranges.

And if anyone who thinks starting Moore over RT at this point probably also thinks the rest of the season is for the fans, and it isnt. If you thought it was about developing a new program and QB before the season wait until you see the rest of the season. It's about finding out who on this team has a future with this organization and to try and get some wins while doing it. If they pull RT at this point you may as well look at getting a new QB next year because they basically gave up on him to try and win now, and for what, to play a spoiler? I doubt they sacrafice the developement of this team over wins that mean nothing at this point, its all about develope while trying to produce some wins.
