As the calendar turned to 2012 the Dolphins brought him back in to their mix. He showed enough to earn a chance to be their main return man. He has not disappointed, and he has not looked back. Thigpen has played in all 10 games. He is averaging 29.4 yards per kick return (that is #3 in the NFL, and he has almost twice as many returns as #1 and #2). For punts returns, Thiggy averages 13.6 yards per return, which is 4th best in the NFL"

26 years old..have we finally found our guy...lol...it's been forever..

A few things I've liked besides the obvious..did you see that extra burst of speed last week when he broke it..it was impressive..dude is fast..

Great build for the position...slightly stocky, 5' 9, strong, great for that position to have someone with his kind of build..you want that because with a slighter player, you risk fumbles cause by a lack of strength when 10 guys are trying to kill you at full speed.

Great hands for the position..Hasn't fumbled..period..catches the ball with ease with good security throughout.

If you watched the CFL you are seeing what we saw, warts and all, Thigpen is explosive but he had a knack for making bad decisions at times.

Would love to see him in the offense as well, don't think he hits 2k apy though, unless the patriots just go crazy scoring on us.

that's the best thing you can say about this kid? I think he has secured his place on this team for years to come and he is better than I plan to run out of Bounds Ted Gin Jr and the kid didnt cost us a first rounder.

Dual edged sword of Ireland, Egnew and Kaddu and Miller are doing bumpkis, Thigpen costs us nothing and is balling.

Basically no one else in the NFL wanted him.

Interesting that Freddie Solomon is still the leader in PR Td's with 2, ditto Vigorito and McDuffie

Mercury Morris leads in Td's with 3, never knew he even returned kickoffs tbh.

Thiggy is on Twitter at @Thiggy34, Ireland has made many moves that did not pan out, Thigpen and Wake could wind up being "All time" type Dolphins, and for those who recall Ireland was instrumental in bringing the Kraken to Miami

A broken clock is right twice a day.

No words for how infuriating it is when he decides to NOT field a punt that winds up conveniently rolling/bouncing back inside the 20

Would like to see us use him the way the Cardinals use to use Larod Stephens-Howling. LSH is now the starter in Arizona but before that he was returning kicks and was basically their third down back. Wouldn't mind giving Thigpen a shot at that. He could line up as a receiver. God knows we could use the speed out there.

A sort of pity that Jovan Olifoye flunked his physical, he made the All Star team again but he has a sort of rare heart condition, he could easily have played RG or even RT possibly LG.

As for Thigpen, I'd like to see him used the way the Jest used to use Leon Washington.

Lamar Miller is inactive today. We may see some Thigpen at RB...
