Breaking up the dream team huh...damn strait..if I was an eagle fan I would be excited for the challenge, and get rid of everyone over 30..
To me Deej, if they fire Reid they've lost their minds and have become rather spoiled Even the Don had some down years.
I agree.. My take is, the man had his son overdose on drugs, at camp..I don't know how anyone could expect him to be at his best, most focused, and leading a team with that fragile mindset, and those demons. My other take is he looks tremulously unhealthy to me, and I think it sets a bad example for the team..If your coach doesn't take of himself, for me it's unacceptable.
Eh, I also think he suffered a bit of what the Don did and lost patience in developing talent and chose to sign it instead, and like with the Don, it backfired. Still and all, Reid is the most successful coach they've had since facemasks were made mandatory
Keep in mind fellas, best believe the Eagles GM called every team in the league prior to the trade deadline shopping him.
I wouldn't have wanted us to pick up that contract. That's why I was only somewhat happy. Trying to claim him would have been a misuse of resources. We don't need to take on a long term deal going into the offseason with so much available space.
raiders are set to release rolando mclain, i want that guy here for the rest of the year to see what he got
Not sure how he would fit with Dansby in the middle. But, I'd definitely be up for it if he fell to us. Could add some versatility and flexibility. That said, I assume he's being released because of off the field issues, or that he's a malcontent. So, you have to take that into consideration IMHO.
