I just bought a good quality pirated copy of "Skyfall" today. I've always been a James Bond fan and I have to say, THIS Bond film buries every other Bond film made.

Daniel Craig portrays the darker side of Bond, making you more sympathetic to him
Dame Judi Dench portrays the best "M" and shows the true relationship she holds to Bond
When finally introduced at the end of the film, Naomie Harris is the sexiest Moneypenny

Going to have to watch it again tonight before going to bed

Watched the 'I Spit On Your Grave' remake earlier. It was on Spike last night but I wanted to see the unrated version. Pretty brutal rape scenes, but the payback is good. Worth a look if you can't find anything to watch on your DVR.

Watched 'J. Edgar' today, with DeCaprio. It was pretty good. Hoover was portrayed as the quirky, cross dressing, closet bisexual that I've always read about. I can only imagine what stuff was on all of his destroyed files after his death that no one will ever know about.

I was very let down by that movie.

I saw 3 fun ones in a row.

Expendables 2, then a week later Batman(DK Rises), then Skyfall. I enjoyed them all, went in with no expectations.

Even with the low expectations, I didn't like Avengers tho.

Their character development was good. Their team development was even better. Avengers is only seen as a shot em up because it's highly underrated IMO.

I certainly hope Cavill's acting will be better in "Man of Steel" than it was in this movie, otherwise.

I wasn't very impressed with the movie.

    The Bourne Legacy sucked.

There really was no need to continue that series, even if Matt Damon had wanted to do another film, everything was wrapped up perfectly.

Good actors cant save a ****ty script with a ****ty plot.

I watched 'In Time' earlier today. Interesting plot, how a person's time in life is so valuable it's used as currency, measured by a digital timer underneath the skin on your forearm. That concept alone made it worth a watch for me.

and then as soon as I start watching it and J Gordon Levitt comes on, dipsh## 14 year old kid in the room says "he turns out to be Robin".

I saw "Jack Reacher" today. It was pretty entertaining. Although I couldn't stop thinking how much better it could have been if they would have cast someone who fits the book version of Reacher better than Tom Cruise.

Besides physical stature, I thought Tom Cruise did a pretty good Jack Reacher. I think people just have issues with Tom Cruise's personal life more than anything else... I liked the movie and him in the role. Looking forward to a sequel.

Django unchained is pretty ****ing good. The first hour or so is exactly what I thought it would be. The rest was not. However, I still really liked it. Jamie Foxx is not exactly the greatest bad *** of our era. There were some times I didn't find him totally believable. Others, very much so. Christopher Waltz is awesome. He's the new Christopher Walken with that voice of his. Such an interesting delivery of lines too. Hope to see more of him in American cinema. Leonardo DiCaprio is my favorite actor. I like almost everything he's in and he kills it everytime. I liked him a lot in this film too. Although, the role was much more tame than I anticipated. Leo is so good at eccentric, I wish they demonstrated more of it to really create a creepy vibe. He delivers the goods none the less.

    Would watch again.

    Killing Em Softly.

Not a great or original story at all, but it's all done as a metaphor and/or satire of the US and our economy. The ending makes it worth watching, imo, but def very mediocre.

I saw Prometheus, I thought it was a pretty good movie, Fassbender was great 'asuuuge. I wish we would have gotten more answers by the end of the movie(LOL Damion Lindelof you son of a *****)
But Ridley Scott said he already had a sequel in mind when he came up with the idea, so it makes sense that not everything would be resolved.
Supposedly its going to be called "Paradise".

I do have my own theory on
Why the Engineers "changed their minds" about humanity, it goes back to the Prometheus myth, that the "Gods" were afraid of humans overthrowing their creators.

    Oh and
the Proto-Xenomorph at the end was a nice touch.

I really enjoyed the movie and the book (years ago), but I saw them as different characters. The Reacher in the books uses his size as an intimidation factor regularly. It's part of who he is and what he does. It helps him interrogate and makes some people underestimate his intelligence. That being said, Cruise did a great job. I enjoyed the movie and would watch the next one (if there is another Reacher movie). Over the years, I've come to accept that the characters I envision when I read the books aren't always going to match what is cast in a movie. And it doesn't have to be. The movies are different. I try to judge them on their own.

Your theory may be true. I posted something somewhere around here about the film. Ridley Scott confirmed Jesus was in fact one of the creators. We killed him. So either they're pissed, scared of us, or both. They cut that out because of christian tards
