Tonight JR Smith gave you a reason to live draining a 18 footer as time expired for the win. Kidd makes all the difference in the world for that team. 7 points but 2 steals, 3 blocks a few dimes and rebs.....you dont really appreciate how much he contributes in other areas until you watch him every night

    A HUGE block actually.

Carmelo and his 6 stitches plans on playing @Miami tonight. Love the reborn intensity, but imo not worth it.

Something tells me that the Miami Heat will find it within themselves to give a **** tonight.

Or they might do what they did vs. BK..play one half at half speed then go bananas for an entire half.

Heat are under microscope after loss to Wizards, home against the Knicks?? They will most certainly care.

Actually after the Knicks kicked their asses opening night I fully expect the Heat to come back and return serve. Plus they just lost to the worst team in the league? I expect Miami to be running on all cylinders tonight from the jump. The Knicks are going to have their hands full tonight and they better come out ready or they will get drilled by 20 the same way the Heat did @ NY.

It would be epic though if the Knicks held out Melo (6 stitches), Felton (thumb injury) and Tyson citing injuries and Woodson went all Popovich. :)

Heat might not have a point guard for tonight. Both Cole and Chalmers are gametime decisions. Battier is out.

Anyone watch the TNT pregame? I know TNT is really a joke with regards to NBA coverage, but Barkley was just on air saying he think Dwyane Wade has significantly declined athletically. Anyone else agree with that? Curious to hear your thoughts. I personally disagree. With LeBron and Bosh on the team, Wade doesn't have to be a 1-man show. Looks like he can still cut and attack the rim at will.

Worst home loss ever for big 3, and without Melo???

Until they learn to defend the 3, NY will beat them 4 out of 7 times.

I understand though, I'd call happy Heat fans in the garden after a blowout a few names myself I'm sure.

Nothing to do with the score. Regular season game so I'm not more than mildly disappointed/slightly annoyed.

If I saw those guys wearing Heat gear I'd have still thought did we have a "Douche night" special. Seriously nicely even hating. I know not all Knicks fans are that "special" just everyone they were showing had textbook douchelook going on

that sucked. nice win NY. We just can't seem to play defense. What is it with people seemingly having career day from 3 against us? Felton had a career high. ****.

They defend the three fine....when they feel like it. You forgot the first round and Novak trying to commit suicide on the bench?

Knicks have zero chance at beating Miami in a 7 game series.

Sure they defend the three fine.... when they feel like it. But it seems good PG plays and ball movement gives Heat a lot of trouble defending the 3-point line. You have to know, it's a VERY different NYK squad from last year's. The way I see it, it can go 50/50 between NYK and Heat. There's no shame of admitting that the NYK are now a true contender in the Eastern Conference.

Good Point Guards like Rondo, Westbrook, and Rose, who the Heat all smashed?

It's a different Knicks squad in the sense that they are completely dependent on the 3 pt. line and they weren't before.

JR Smith's % is already coming down. The rest will follow, and the losses will return.

This is not my first rodeo.

If I'm indifferent to the competition in the EC, how do you think the Actual guys that play games feel?

I'm Looking west..Memphis, OKC, San Antonio and the Lakers, if they correct their issues. That's it. The east is trash.

The realistic goal for the Knicks is to catch a good draw..make the ECF's and win two games from the Heat. That's the ceiling.

and I said that before the season started, so what they have done has done little to change my mind.

JR Smith is a streaky shooter. Always has been.

Other than Rondo, if you consider Steve Francis-style of play is good PG plays . . . . . .

What you're trying to imply is that "Live by the 3, die by the 3" mantra. Cool, but that seems to imply to those teams that hardly plays defense...
