Go ahead, take your shots. We are surely not NE Patriots but again, this is not a bad football team. A few positions away from being a very good football team. Been watching football a looooong time, longer then some were even born here and like I said, this is not a bad football team. I sit back and look at some comments and just scratch my head. These days if you are not winning your division yearly your team sucks. Its not only in S Florida , its around the entire league. For instance Jeff Ireland. In no way shape or form can I judge the man. It seems people only knock his bad picks but say nothing about his good choices. The entire team is not full of bad choices. Ross. People get pissed when he says something he wishes would happen. Do you want an owner when questioned about his expectations that says, Meh, who cares ? Its a good football team, certainly not a great football team but its not near as bad as some asswipes on here hammer on their keyboards. If I was Steven Ross I would pick the team up and move it. Forida has three football teams and the general public now in S Florida could give two ****s about the sport unless it was a Super Bowl contender. Thats not being a fan, thats being a bandwagon fan. The general population in S. Florida has changed drastically since the Shula Days. You do not like it and some pinheads profess put your money where your mouth is then I say show me you have balls enough to ask Ross to move the team if you are not happy. Personally, I would love that. L. A. hands down, makes S.Forida, no, the entier state of Florida look like a slum area. There is no better place on the planet then Southern California for lifestyle or weather. Humidity alone is none existent in Southern California. So like I said, you Pee heads really want to show the world you have some balls ? Then start a petition to move what you imagine as a crap team to LA. They need a team and S. Florida no longer is interested in its team unless it goes to the playoffs every year. LOL, I know the answer to this because not one person in S. Florida has that much balls. Imagine if the Dolphins moved. What would Omar and others do for a living, most likely be on the bread line because they could not work anywhere else. Myself, would LOVE to see people crying over and Empty stadium with no team to play there. Just stop *****ing an appreciate the fact that there is a team in S.Florida and if that does not make you happy then please, write a letter to Ross and beg him to move the team. Just think, nothing to ***** about anymore and then you can mock the team when it is in LA , of which the planet earth could care less what the residents of S.Florida have to say. So I say lets get a petition up to move the team outside of Florida so everyone can be happy. Its a good football team pinheads, not great but a good football team
How in the hell does that make any sense whatsoever. That's like saying if you don't like your son's kindergarten teacher, prove it by uprooting your family and moving to a different state. OR...(crazy, I know)...you could just ask your son to be put in a different kindergarten class and hope this one's better.
Damn. I'm the one idiot that actually responded with a counterpoint. Everyone else is taking the post for the troll post that it is. D'oh.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion, even if it is wrong. Good football teams do not have four losing seasons in a row. As far as Ross moving the team goes. He owns the team and he can certainly do with it what he pleases. I just don't see him moving the team out of South Florida, since he also happens to own the stadium and the purchase of the stadium cost him hundreds of millions of dollars when he became majority owner of the Dolphins. If you appreciate a losing football team, good for you. There are thousands of former season ticket holders who differ with your opinion and that is why they no longer go to the games.
I couldnt help it. As soon as I saw the post, I felt thats the face I was making, to make matters worse, I actually started reading it and in my mind it was this kids voice reading it to me.
Why is the thread title "This is NOT a bad football team" and then you proceed to rant about how the team should move and California is superior to Florida? Makes no sense at all.
Don't you constantly complain about how Mike Sherman and Ryan Tannehill are human incarnations of mediocrity?
First off: The goal of sports is to WIN, moral victories is for peewee football, not for professionals getting paid millions of dollars which many individuals will never see in their lifetime and second: a FEW positions?? Off the top of my head we are lacking an O-line, WR's, TE, Secondary, LB's and a kicker that although has kept us in many games these past few years unfortunately cost us a few this year. We have an offensive coordinator that is predictable and if any team REALLLLY wants to pass on us and make a concerted effort to do so, will get career numbers. Not to mention we have a rookie coach that seems to yank Reggie Bush just when he starts to get hot. Or yanks him because of a fumble and renders us stupidly one-dimensional. Constructive criticism is infinitely better than fake praise.....
I understand dude, I'm pissed as hell at our culture as well..but, it's not all their fault man, we've been fu&$ed around by any cliche you would like to use here..I've never seen a fanbase not named the lions or bengals, who have had to take so many hard hits over such a stretch..The bengals the past decade have Been better than us no?...and, the franchise has a builtin cancer in their home building, going to watch a live football game in the worst stadium in the league to watch live football is no way to invest money or to breed culture.. For the current team, hey, players are on the field and they haven't been able to get it done for four years strait..say what you wanna say about who put those players there, bottom line, they took the field and demonstrated over a four year period that they are a below average football team. I'm pretty down myself..my main issue is this, we care so much, yet we have no one that is taking accountability, nor do we have a fu&$in clue as to who's runnin sh&$... Where's this so called " transparency" we heard about, why don't we know what's going on?, is it normal to be this completely out of the loop for a franchise.? I mean, think about it,why should we care so much if we don't know what's going on with our own team? I mean this is some blind *** rooting sh)$.. And I'm sure as its own issue, is hurting fan interest and passion.
Because the real purpose of the OP was to complain about Los Angeles, apparently the greatest place on Earth, not having a football team.
