Wake would be a terrible safety.

He's not getting targeted any more than other starting receivers though. Guess that doesn't count for anything.

His play didn't suffer. He was still as good a receiver as he is this year. Marshall was just on the other side, so Hartline's targets were low.

Not just that. They have made the correct calls all day. Yes, two of them were sketchy but Roger Goodell's league forces them to make some sketchy calls.

hahaahahahaa..... you mean like how we didn't sign Brandon Marshall?
Who gives a s*** what Shorts did as a rookie!! He's from Mount Union, genius. He's blossoming into a stud in only his 2nd year. How the hell can you think Hartline would start over Shorts is pure lunacy.

Doesn't matter now Brother, Tannehill will have started all year.

You can see the talent in Tannehill's game, I prefer winning though, it's just me.

Hartline has played well enough to be resigned.

Resign him and get a No. 1 receiver (Possibly a No. 2 as well) in the draft or FA

Of course he's getting targeted as much as other starting receivers. There's no one to steal snaps from him, which was implied in King Mo's point. Hartline isn't our top target by choice.

Yea, we traded for Marshall. Not sure what your point is.

There is no guarantee Shorts beats out Hartline. Hartline could have beaten out shorts. If not, Hartline would have started over Blackmon considering he struggled like **** to begin the season. Either way, he's most likely in the top 2 of the rotation.

    Now please stop posting back.

Food for thought on Hartline and his inability to score. Of the top 40 receivers in the NFL (total receptions) only three guys have 1 TD. Witten, Hartline and Bess. One guy has 2 and a few have 3. Our receivers inability to score is just nuts

You just said we wouldn't have signed Robinson with Hartline on the roster. I pointed out the obvious error in that statement by saying Hartline didn't prevent us from signing Marshall (and giving up 2 2nds to boot).

lol. Yeah ok, Hartline would start over the #1 receiver drafted this year.

No, he's NOT in the top 2 of the rotation..... and he only breaks the top 3 if Robinson isn't concussed. Ridiculous to say he starts over Shorts. RIDICULOUS. Shorts has 720 yards, 5 TDs, and 9.5 yards per target in his past 8 games, and he's done it with poorer QB play, with greater receiver competition, and without an anomaly of a game skewing the stats. Stop trolling.

We actually signed a 15 catch Chad Johnson because we had Brian Hartline. He was also our number 1 until he got arrested.

I said, or meant, Jacksonville wouldn't have.

That's rich. I'm trolling. After you admitted you were trolling, you accuse me of trolling.

MAYBE Shorts beats out Hartline. If he does, Hartline still would have found a way to start due to Blackmon's struggles. Those are facts.

Like I said, stop posting. You would take a member on this board over Hartline. I could care less about your opinions, especially in regards to Hartline.

No, we signed Johnson because we had Hartline and Bess. No one else. He was also not our number one.

Yeah I'm sure the Jags would love to trade the playmaking Shorts' 7 TDs & 19.2 YPC for Hartline's 1 & 14.9.

Jax was foolish to not give us their first for Hartline rather than wasting it on an inferior receiver like Blackmon.

It's not crazy to think we could finish 7-9 and possibly 8-8 considering the Patriots could be resting their starters week 17. Granted all that needs to happen to dampen that party this week is Pittsburgh defeating Dallas but nonetheless.
