What I mean is that while how to use Ryder is practically butt-numbingly obvious, it seems like the writers don't know how to do so.

Like someone else said earlier (Samphin?), it's funny how they are willing to change up the card due to the lack of reaction from the crowd, but they are not willing to push someone who was getting major heat from them.

It felt like it wasn't a fall out show from the ppv. It felt like the awards overshadowed lasts night ppv and the storylines

Ryder is actually pretty over for being the forgotten man. Crowds chant for him and get behind him whenever he wrestles and he sells a ton of merchandise and that's with him being completely forgotten and a jobber. Imagine if they actually gave him a push.

I'm just glad they didn't put Flair thru the announce table since it didn't break when Rollins was thrown on it by Ryback. Flair doesn't need to be bumping all the time at his age. They set that spot up good with that award everyone knows punk deserves it but the fans weren't going to vote for him, So they worked around the award to get flair and punk together. When Heyman was in the figure four there was probaly some wrestlers who paul owes money hoping he would put some extra juice on it.

The Slammys weren't voted by the fans, the awards are fixed in advance. Shocking, I know. How could pro wrestling fix an "award show".

He is one of the obvious call ups from NXT. Pretty over with the NXT followers and crowds, so I am intrigued on that end. He is raw as hell in the ring though and I don't think this debut did him any favors. I think he would have been better off being a bodyguard for someone or even giving him some vignettes to debut with, but what's done is done.

I expect Kassius Ohno to debut soon too, as I believe he will be THE next guy to come up and make a significant, long-term impact ala Dean Ambrose.

RAW was odd last night. Some good moments in the first two hours but the timing was off. Multiple wrestlers had their entrances off camera, and some odd choices on which matche to give time to. I thought the six man tag match with 3MB went way too long, while Bryan and Kane were relegated to run-ins and Slammy cameos. Seemed rather odd.

Good to see HHH, Flair, Boogeyman and Steamboat.

Especially him going after Cena. Why not start him out small and build him up? It's not like Cena is going to be doing jobs to him at the Rumble or the Feb PPV leading up to WM. Plus is RAW really the right place for him right now with the focus being on Shield?

I agree but they should drop the tag belts to The Shield asap, probably at the Rumble. Then Shield can do a "Freebird" type title defenses with the belts.

Yep. I really want Bryan to break out into a major singles star though (possibly winning the rumble?). He kind of was earlier in the year but he's so over that he should be AT LEAST the semi main event of every PPV. Not to mention he's the best worker in the company.

RAW was actually pretty good last night. The Ziggler/Cena and Punk/Ryback matches were good and the promo by the Rock/Punk was great. The only thing I wished I didn't have to see/hear was Cena making wiener jokes to open the show but hey I guess he needs to impress his 8 year old fans.

Also found it interesting when the WWE listed the superstars with the most Twitter followers they left off Zack Ryder and put The Miz on when Ryder has over 100k more followers and is less than 10k from 1 million followers. If the WWE wanted to turn Ryder heel he would have A LOT of material to work with about how he's being ignored. But of course this is the WWE....

So I'm thinking Rock beats punk ends his streak.
Ziggler immediately comes out and uses his money in the bank. Wins the title.

Nah I'd be surprised if that happened, the Ziggler part just wouldn't make any sense with WM right around the corner. I could see The Rock winning the title and Cena winning the Rumble to set up Rock/Cena 2 at WM or Punk retaining with the help of Shield and setting up Punk vs. Undertaker at WM, title vs. streak match. It's really a toss up right now but I'm guessing Punk will retain since Undertaker/Punk could be a real money match.

Rock beat Punk in what would have to be an epic match to kill Punk's streak...then drop it in seconds to Ziggler?

    Ah...no.

or you let the ziggler part continue with cena and set up that match. I think it would make sense. then you turn the cm punk rock match personal. And the surprised part is what I amt hinking would make it good.

Ziggler/Cena just had a program together, I don't think there's anything left there to draw money right now, especially when Cena beat him last night on RAW to pretty much end that feud. The WWE just spent over 400 days having the same WWE champion, for them to then have two champions in a matter of minutes would be counterproductive. Maybe you'd be on to something if Punk hadn't been the champion for so long or WM wasn't 3 months away for that surprise factor but I just can't see the WWE having Ziggler walk into a WM match with the title with so many different money matches they could do instead.

  36. Samphin

Samphin Κακό σκυλί ψόφο δεν έχει

    Ziggler is cashing at WM.

Right now, my money is on The Rock winning at RR (especially once he is on every Raw leading up to WM, pretty much a full time schedule) and facing Cena at WM again. Cena is still the face of the company. Last night, the main event was whoever was I the first half hour of the show (the only part of the show to go in opposed against the BCS game and thus, the best attempt at keeping eyeballs on RAW) and Cena was that guy.

Ryback is being shifted to Smackdown which means that he is probably going to be your challenger to Big Show at WM. the visual of Ryback shell shocking Big Show should make for a great WM moment.

The other big Smackdown feud will be Orton vs. Sheamus as they are starting to lay that groundwork for that feud across both Raw and Smackdown.

That leaves Punk with one option...and that option is Undertaker. Punk could weave his way into convincing the audience that ending the streak is more legendary then winning back his title that he can get anytime he wanted.

So your WM card shakes out as such:

    Rock vs. Cena
    Show vs. Ryback
    Orton vs. Sheamus
    Punk vs. Undertaker

Nice top of the card. Now, this changes if Brock and/or HHH happens to come back. I would LOVE to see Brock vs. Rock. Hollywood vs. UFC. That of course, means Cena has to shift to something else and I would make him go up against Taker. Which of course means Punk is out of a gig. Not quite sure how to remedy that unless Austin really IS serious about a comeback. Punk taking on The Rock and Austin within a few months and declaring war on the Attitude era would be fun.

Either way, Wrestlemania looks to be stacked this year. Kudos to them on investing in their Midcard in 2012. It is making for a stronger 2013.

Agree with everything you said, except Ziggler cashing in at WM as I can't see Ziggler taking the title for Ryback after he just won it or Ziggler beating Undertaker thus ending his streak (assuming he beats Punk in the title match) or even off of Cena after he just beat The Rock.

As far as Austin goes, I think he's pretty much a no go for this year. He recently got surgery I believe and won't be healthy enough to compete. Of course that could just be an internet rumor so if/when Austin returns it would be a surprise but I think it's been reported there's no way he can go this year.

I also heard that Austin doesn't want to play 2nd fiddle to the Rock. Of its Cena/Rock he won't because no one really cares about that match again, but wwe will have that in the main event. I think you see Punk/Austin next WM. I also think Punk retains at RR. Next ppv is elimination chamber and unless its a number 1 contenders chamber match, Rock can't be champ for that. I hope Lesnar gets involved and its Brock/Rock WM. you can book it as Winner leaves for 6 months, loser leaves for 8

Austin had knee surgery in the summer of last year. He missed RAW1000 because of it. I am almost positive that that happened so that he WOULD have enough time to be back for WM. also of note....Austin should be at next week's RAW, so the second fiddle nonsense to The Rock isn't valid. I not saying it will happen, just that it could. Next year makes a lot of sense since I believe WM30 is rumored for Texas, if not confirmed, but next year is no guarantee for Punk to be where he is at either.

Also, I think Mick Foley is going into the HOF this year.
