Yep. That is why I can see Melo winning. I actually hate the MVP award. How exactly does one judge value? Lebron is the most valuable player in the league because if there was an NBA fantasy draft to reset the teams, he would undoubtedly be picked first. The issue is that people think he is somehow less "valuable" to Miami because we have Wade and Bosh.

    Lebron James has three MVP's.

He is having the best season of his career far.

If you go with the "Best performance" argument, then it is not even close.

If you go with the "Most valuable to their team" argument, then I would say Melo, Duncan and KD are the best candidates to unseat Lebron.

Just discovered the Lakers hired D'Antoni. Astonishing amounts of idiocy going on with that franchise.

5-20 isnt struggling, its an atrocity. Stop shooting Raymond. As bad as the refs were he cost us that game as much as any one player.

You think the Refs helped OKC much?

    OKC 38 FT's.

Miami 19 FT's with 6 coming on intentional fouls.

    Points in the paint:

    Miami 42
    OKC 28

So we know who was more aggressive.

    WTF was that?

    Oh well..I'll take the win.

I love how the announcers were saying Lebron flopped when a ****ing 6'3 dude tackles him running full speed from behind a screen. If you aren't expecting to get hit yes that will knock you down. They always act like Lebron isn't human. He is.

How? I only saw the end of the game where Melo pretended to be held so tightly he couldn't take one step towards the ball on the inbound pass.

LOL Well your loss and my win made Christmas oh so sweet.

Melo was held on that last play for sure, but only by the arm. He made it seem like he couldn't move a step because he was in some sort of bear hug by a sumo wrestler. It was a foul...and he probably gets it called if he tries to move away. You guys still had a chance at that point.

Pau getting that dunk hurt though.

Side Note: Money must be really sexy to women. I had the misfortune of seeing the bottom row of Lil Waynes teeth during the Heat game. They look like they are made of tin foil.

I missed LiL Wayne. Did he have a harness on his shoulder? He busted his shoulder up pretty bad at his skatepark last week.

Honestly Im not sure. He was seated and you could only really see his face the way the were zoomed. If I was looking for it I probably could have seen but his teeth were like....I couldn't stop looking.

He was held pretty darn well. They had full grip on Melo's jersey and arm.

The Knicks game was almost as poorly reffed as the Heat game. the only difference was that in the NYK-LAL game the bad calls were almost equal. there were about 5 that tilted the game to LAL. In the Heat game, mucha as I hate em, they had almost every foul called on them.

But at the same time I cant feel too bad for Miami. I mean Lebron just went 6 whole games with out a foul called on him prior to this game. How is that even possible to go 2 weeks since theres been a foul called on the guy. Not even MJ got that gift. I recognize Lebron is a great player but for flips sake every other player has 1 BS foul called on him in a week. This dude goes 6 games. Thats some BS. How many refs bet on those games? Thats the type of BS that ticks me off. Not like he was playing 15 minutes a night either. 37-42 just about each of those 6 games.

Then there is always the fact that a foul could be called nearly every single time Lebron goes to the basket. He gets hacked just like Shaq used to and hardly a foul gets called. That's because the games would be won with a lot more consistancy and ease if they called the game correctly. Unfair to the money the league creates .....

the reason lebron isn't getting called for fouls is because he plays defense with his chest only most the time this year

I used to like Wade a lot and Lebron a little.

But James has been the model NBA player, unselfish and blue collar. Wade has frankly became a bit**.

    Wade is God.

In fact, Lebron needs to take some cues from Wade. Wade is an actual superstar tough guy. Not many of those, and they used to be everywhere.

I realize that and youre correct. But to not collect a foul through 6 games? Common man. Thats like the Pats not collecting a penalty for 6 games. Is that even possible?

JR Smith with a ridiculous shot to tie and then an even more ridiculous shot to beat Phoenix without Melo, Felton, Sheed, and Amare. I like how JR has adopted that Victor Cruz salsa dance with gamewinners now.

He had been taking it easy on defense but I never contested that it should have been that way. You're absolutely correct. Just saying that those 6 games do not wash out the fact that he is abused on a play to play, year by year basis. It's almost unfair sometimes but he does not cry about it too much.

I thank Jason Kidd for throwing a perfect inbounds pass and for being a sick *** old man ballin out of control. I swear you dont realize how good he is until you watch him every night. I mean I watch him somewhat on an ever night basis when he was in NJ but lets be real who the heck watched Net games? So nice to have him on my team after he torched us for years. And I thank JR for being one of the best bad shot makers you will ever watch. Never have I said "WTF are you shooting" followed by "good shot" so often.

One thing I like about Lebron is that he doesnt cry. It would be easy for him to do so if they called ticky tack stuff on him the way they did for a few other players throughout the years. I mean Reggie Miller and Paul Pierce you couldnt even breathe on without it being a foul.

Yea Kidd has played great basketball for the Knicks. I said it this summer this teams so deep it's 2's could make the playoffs. But nobody could have predicted JR Smiths resurgence, I actually thought all of our additions would decrease his minutes drastically. Yet he has thrived.

    CAN'T WAIT FOR PLAYOFFS

There hasn't been any JR Smith resurgence. He is doing what he has always done. His numbers haven't changed. So if this team is so deep that their #2's can make the playoffs, then what do you say about the Heat's #2's? They make the ECF's?
