Miami Dolphins New logo/uniforms Thread

The one in your avy isn't what I talking about.
I'm talking about the leaked one with the tail extended and flipped up. So no it isn't the same at all.
It looks stupid as hell.

I think the logo is going to be larger.

 

I cant make up my mind on it. Its not horrible, but there is something weird about it. Put me in the camp of liking the old logo better.

 

But, with two coconuts we'd have the team running onto the field in Monty Pythonian style armour, and a bunch of twits behind them clapping the coconuts together.
And the Dolphin cheer would be "It's only a flesh wound!"

Most of you know I am an AFO... so that means that I'd like throwbacks to the early 70's style... like they played with in the early 2000's.

Jet fan friend of mine says that it looks like a oversized turd in a toilet bowl

 

This fanbase is on the verge of being apathetic to new heights...

Well, imagine that! Whales and Dolphins are actually related so why the heck do they have similar features. This leaked logo does have certain features of a killer whale but there is a reason for that. Killer whales are not actually whales at all. They are in the Dolphin family.


So yeah, it could have a certain feature that looks like a whale but it looks just like a Dolphin. What sucks even more is you're making me defend it when I'm not a big fan of it. I don't think it is the worst thing in the world but I like others much better.

That Dolphin logo however does have a striking resemblance to a large bowl floater.

Folks....I've seen EVERY so called LEAKED version of the Dolphins logo. None of them are real, & I don't know why this one is so special?

Again, its his opinion. He has not seen the logo so he cant say 100% this is fake

 

The Dolphins need to say something soon IMO. Its getting out of hand

 

Why? They are getting tons of free press

 

DolphinNYC.com is getting a lot of press, if its not the logo then all of it for nothing

 

Everyone knows the Dolphins are getting a logo. There is more anticipation for it. Plus, they have to do nothing but sit back.

I think it's fake too. There is something called a confidential agreement that would likely prevent this from being leaked. I have had to sign these for producing videos and I could have gotten in trouble if I broke it. For an NFL team, this is something that will be tightly sealed until the organization decides it not to be. Just IMO.

 

Either if i like the new logo or not, I cant wait for the sales on their current logo. Still the logo i grew up with and it will be vintage!

 

That hasn't worked for SO many industries.

 

I would bet people from the dolphins organization is reading this thread as we speak, make your opinion known.

 

If it was leaked then it was probably leaked on purpose. In other words. the organization would have decided it not be sealed. The advantage is obvious. People automatically resist change. Giving people time to adjust eases that. You can already see posts here where people say the new logo is growing on them.

New logos always get leaked.

Well they have constantly said that the logo posted is just a prototype and might be different from the finished product, just one of the ideas...its other people saying its official.

Pretty much a given it will be changed though. Someone reported that they went to the official store, and inventory is much lower than usual. Probably since they are slowly going to end production on whatever merchandise they have with the current logo...until it is re-sold as retro in 5 years.

Just because some break it doesn't mean all break it. Everyone can ***** and moan for a couple weeks though. I guess you all need something to rabble about now that our season is about done.

 

They said they are 95% confident that that is, or close to the final product.

 

It does mean all can break it. It is very easy to break. Just because people sign a piece of paper doesn't stop things from being leaked.
