Even if no one is open, get picked, so I can say we should draft a new qb....

 

I thought that we could go into next season with Nate and JMartin as our OT's… me thinks not...

 

We clearly need a rush end to pair with Wake.

And our need for a decent LG and RT cannot be ignored.

 

And if he goes through his progressions and no one is open, because no one can get any separation to speak of, what does he do then?

This team needs speed and playmakers at the skill positions, a tackle and a guard.

 

Who the **** is open to throw too? And once he steps up the d line is there to rape him are you watching the game?

 

Of course having some players who can actually get open on a consistence basis will help also

Sure you can... Qb's routinely trust a WR in a one-on-one. Yopu pick the guy you think can win the jump ball, or catch a back shoulder before the defender sees hwhere it is placed.

It's such a fallacy that good QBs only thorw to open receivers.

Great QBs can complete to covered receivers with ball placement and knowing the matchup... and also they can throw the receiver open.

 

Watch us put Tebow in for Tannehill next series (he flew down after the Jets game)

 

And if he THROWS into coverage and it gets intercepted you will scream "run it, you could have gained yards".

 

Put Moore in, please. No reason to risk Tanne getting hurt more.

I don't think it's nearly as big of an issue as you might suspect, particularly at this time of the season. His line and receivers are a bigger issue right now.

Brady wanted to feel like he was playing a football game.. had to run into a guy just to get touched for the first time today.

Tannehill isn't great .... Yet if ever. Also which receiver on this team do you trust?

 

Well that happens too on occasion, but I suspect that veteran quarterbacks don't spend so much time trying to identify whether a first read is open when it's really not and isn't going to be. They're able to take a look at how things are unfolding right away, more quickly determine that the first read won't be open, and then move on and still make something of the play.

Watching the Dolphins run off the field and sprint for winter coats and anything to put on says it all about their mentality today. Tannehill must start undressing 5 minutes before he has to get on the field
